AMERICAN RED CROSS LEARN TO SWIM FOR CHILDREN #102 SPRINGBOARD DIVING #104 This course will cover the basics of competitive springboard diving: approach, hurdle, take-off, light and entry. Emphasis will be on proper techniques and form. In addition, all ive groups of dives will be taught: forward, back, reverse, inward and twisting.

ADULT LAP SWIMMING #101

This course follows the progression of the American Red Cross swim levels 1-6. If you know your child’s swim level for Learn To Swim, please indicate it on the registration form. If not, a placement test will be given on the 1st day. The age requirements for this class is at least 5 years old by August 2nd. NO make-up classes for summer. There will be no registration for sessions I and II on the 5irst day! Session I: June 25 – July 12 (3 weeks) *No class July 4th* Fee: $125.00 OR Session II: July 16 – August 2 (3 weeks) Fee: $125.00 OR Session I and II: June 25 – August 2 (6 weeks) Fee: $250.00

ADULT LEARN TO SWIM #103 This course is for adults who cannot swim or want to improve their swimming skills. Topics include proper breathing, loating, strokes and water safety. Tuesdays & Thursdays Beginning June 26 - Ends August 2 Time: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM Fee: $120.00 for 12 classes

PRESCHOOLERS LEARN TO TO SWIM #113 This could be a child’s irst swimming experience without a parent. Water orientation is taught with emphasis on kicking, arm pull/breath control, back loat and water safety skills. The course is for children ages 2 to 5 years. Maximum enrollment is 10 per class time. There will be no registration for session I and II on the 5irst day! No Make-up dates for summer. Session I: June 25 – July 12 ( 3 weeks) *No class July 4th Fee: $125.00 OR Session II: July 16– August 2 (3 Weeks) Fee: $125.00 OR Session I and II: June 25th– August 2 Fee: $250.00

AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD #107

RECERTIFICATION FOR CPR/AED #109

This full course consists of American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. The course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies in and around pools.

This course is suitable for those who need certi ication renewal for CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (Lifeguard). Participants must complete written and skill testing to receive certi ication. American Red Cross certi ication is valid for 2 years. Bring breathing masks, certi ications and $36.00 cash for ARC Admin fee.

Age requirement: 15 years old by the end of the course

Date: Monday, June 11 Time: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fee: $50.00 check plus $36.00 cash for ARC Certi5ication card Location: HHH HS West - Room 103

Maximum number of participants: 10 – Course enrollment is based upon water strength and performance on the prerequisite swim test ONLY. Prerequisite testing for acceptance into the course will include: 1. Swim 300 yards continuously using the front crawl and/or breaststroke. 2. Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs. 3. Swim 20 yards, surface dive 12 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object, swim 20 yards on your back with both hands holding the object and keeping your face at or near the surface, and exit the water. This must be performed in 100 seconds or less. Mandatory Pre-Requisite Testing Date at HS West Pool: Wednesday, June 27, 8:00 - 10:00 PM

SENIOR CITIZEN SWIM #106 Date: Mondays –Thursday Time: 2:00PM - 3:00PM Beginning June 25 - Ends August 2 Fee: $50.00 FOR SUMMER ONLY (Includes all 4 days) Annual fee in the fall includes winter and summer

ADAPTIVE SWIM CLASS #108

Class Begins: Monday, July 9 @ 6:45 PM High School West -Room 103 Mondays & Wednesdays: 6:45 PM - 10 PM Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:45PM - 7:45 PM Ending either Thursday July 26 or Tuesday July 31 Fee: $375.00 for HHH residents; $425.00 for non-HHH residents Fee includes course textbook and breathing masks. ARC admin fee is an additional $36.00 upon completion of the class.

RECERTIFICATION FOR LIFEGUARDING WITH CPR/AED #110 This course is suitable for those who have a current LFGT/1st Aid/CPR/ AED certi ication that requires renewal. A prerequisite swim test and validation of the participant’s current ARC certi ication will be conducted on the irst night of class. During the course, participants will receive a full review of all material. Participants must complete written testing and practical skill scenarios to receive certi ication. Bring your breathing masks, current certi ications, bathing suit and $36.00 cash for the ARC certi ication cards to the irst class. Attendance to all dates is mandatory to receive certi5ication. Dates: June 19, 20 & 21 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Location: HS West, meet in classroom 103 Time: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fee: $150.00 Plus $36.00 for American Red Cross Certi5ication Card

This class is suitable for individuals with physical or mental disabilities that prevent them from learning in a group setting. Classes are one-to-one and instructors will teach skills based upon the abilities of each individual students.
