Description The ACLU Summer Advocacy Program brings together high school students from across the United States to participate in a firsthand learning experience for the next generation of social justice advocates. Through this college-level program, high school students will explore an academic area of interest in a challenging and supportive University-based learning community. The Pre-College Program offers a variety of different course topics from which students can choose and all Pre-College classes are taught by Adelphi’s nationally recognized faculty. Looking to earn college credit? Our for-credit class options provide students with the opportunity to earn 3 transferable college credits which can be applied toward future degrees. We also offer non-credit program options for those students who wish to gain a unique college experience. If you're in high school, you don't have to wait to get your college career started. Through The University of Alabama Early College program you can take college courses online or on campus while still in high school, earning up to 30 credit hours. Thousands of high school students have gotten a big jump on college through UA Early College. Alfred University offers several academic and sports related residential learning programs for elementary and high school students interested in everything from astronomy and drone flying to swimming and Western Equestrian horseback riding. Residential camps provide hands-on, intensive learning for students in a safe, supportive and fun atmosphere.

FINAL PERFORMANCES At the conclusion of the program, all students perform in a Final Performance production, which is filmed by a professional camera crew. Cambridge University offers a three-week residential program offering students college credit courses, as well as non-credit enrichment courses and many activities on and off campus . This program is available to current African American, sophomore students who have an interest in African American culture. This is a one-week, all-expense-paid program. Carnegie Mellon University provides students with a challenging academic education while allowing them to explore the city of Pittsburgh. The STEM Research Experience is an intensive program designed to engage highly motivated high school students in university level STEM research. The program will familiarize the college-level student with architectural design, thought, and practice, in the context of downtown Manhattan - a vibrant neighborhood of art, music, culture and commerce. All programs offered by FIDM learn what it’s like to own their own business or have a career in Marketing, Social Media, Fashion Buying, Merchandising, Fashion Styling, or Fashion Design. Summer Sessions at FTC allow students to stay creative over the summer and take courses during the non-enrollment period. Split into two terms, FTC’s Summer Sessions are comprised of a limited range of classes that help students accelerate or catch-up in their studies. New first-time, full-time Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) students are required to attend classes during the first summer session prior to the start of their freshman year. Providing high school junior and senior students with college level courses in courses, such as Business Administration, Communication and Media Studies, Computer Science, Economics, English, History, Mathematics, Middle Eastern Studies, Natural Sciences, Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology, Spanish, and Theatre and Visual Arts. Summer Discovery also provides information on a number of enrichment courses and academies available at Georgetown University. GVI offers various programs to high school students, including those under the age of 18. ISA High School’s mission is to provide high quality language and cultural immersion opportunities to U.S. high school students at a reasonable price. Their programs are designed to maximize participants’ learning abroad by providing expert support before, during, and after their time abroad. Ithaca College offers one- and three- week, residential programs for high school students to experience college life and college-level courses while living in a safe environment. The one-week program is non-credit while the three-week program allows for credits. Experiential Entrepreneurship, Experience Design, and Innovations in Health Professions Programs. Two different programs are being offered to high school students. The Rising Scholars Program is for students in grades 7 through 9 while the College Prep Program is for students entering grades 10 through 12. Future Leader Camp (FLC) is a two-week program dedicated to developing leadership skills of high school students. This program provides a challenging and meaningful adventure camp experience while building an understanding of small-group leadership techniques, leadership ethics, teamwork, problem-solving and effective communication. Foresight Prep is an intensive, pre-college institute for high school students passionate about social equality and the environment. SUNY Old Westbury provides High School Students with an opportunity to learn biotechnology, molecular biology of cancer, cell biology, cancer immunology, biochemistry, cell signaling, and neuroscience under the mentorship of faculty. This intensive, four-week, pre-college program is for individuals 15 or older who are looking to strengthen and enhance their art and design skills. Students are immersed in Foundation Studio Courses, Specialization Courses and English Language Immersion Courses. High school and junior high school students are welcomed to study programs in Europe and the United States. The goal of Oxbridge Academic Programs is to give young people the opportunity to live and study in the historic and scholarly centers of learning that are Oxford and Cambridge in England, St. Andrews in Scotland, Barcelona and Salamanca in Spain, Paris and Montpellier in France, and New York, Los Angeles, and Boston in The United States. The program is a tailored course for international students aged 16+ who would like to spend an enriching term in Oxford in preparation for their university careers. Pace University's Summer Scholars Institute is a summer program for ambitious high school junior and senior students looking to have an early college experience. SAME, in collaboration with the military services, offers a series of week long, STEM Engineering & Camps designed for high school students who excel in math, science and technology courses and are interested in pursuing engineering, architecture, or related fields in college. Stanford offers many residential programs to high school students including, Summer Institutes, Humanities, Art, Math, Medical, Sports Business, Science and matriculated full summer quarter experiences. Students will attend master classes taught by master teachers, perform in large group ensembles, and have the opportunity to receive training in music theory and aural skills. This residential program provides high school students entering their senior year of school with the opportunities and career possibilities available in the global energy resources industry. Other summer opportunities include studying one of twenty courses offered in a variety of subjects, as well as studying Architecture, Performing Arts, or PreHealth/Global Studies. SPI is an international education organization whose primary goal is for students to return home with a heightened sense of selfawareness and confidence through a unique, authentic and meaningful experience abroad. With over 22 years of experience in the field of international volunteering, Squads Abroad has excelled in providing safe and immersive group experiences. Our home-base model, strong community partnerships, and expert in-country staff guide our approach to sustainable service and enriching cultural activities. Each Squad chooses when and where they would like to serve, what type of project, and how many volunteers will participate. We then collaboratively match the Squad with one of our under-resourced community partners to implement the program together. Volunteers provide educational support while fundraising directly towards a designated project they help build once on-the-ground. St. John’s Summer Academy is a college summer program for high school students (ages 15 to 18), modeled after St. John’s discussion-based, interdisciplinary method of teaching the great books. A hands-on introduction to college life, our Great Books Summer Reading Program helps students hone their reading, critical thinking, and discussion skills. The Academy Introduction Mission (AIM) is a one-week summer program where you'll immerse yourself in Academy life. Summer STEM provides students with handson experience in math and science, making it a great way to start your career in science and engineering. Summer Seminar is a fast-paced, six-day experience for students who have completed their junior year of high school. Summer Seminar teaches you about life at the Naval Academy, where academics, athletics, and professional training play equally important roles in developing our nation’s leaders. USDAN offers a seven-week program to students. There day will consist of a major, a minor, daily assemblies by student and professional artists, an Institute period and a job assignment. All will receive leadership stipends for their work and be eligible for partial merit scholarships. This program is designed for students who typically test at the 95th percentile and above in one or multiple areas of the ACT, SAT, or PSAT tests. Various course subjects are offered. The University of Vermont is offering high school students the opportunity to gain college credits while in high school. The Summer Academy is a four-week program (2 weeks on-campus, 2 week online) available at the University of Vermont is for students interested in their Health & Medicine Program. This program offers courses in Business, Computer Science, Psychology and Forensic Science.

Students experience in a short timeframe all phases of a complete architectural project from initial design concepts through development and refinement and including realization as a fullscale construction on a site. College credit is offered. Wesleyan University offers an intensive Summer session in which students can complete semester-long courses in only five weeks. Featured courses include intensives in writing, liberal arts, and leadership. West Hills Day Camp offers a Counselor-InTraining Program for campers who are entering 8th thru 11th grade.
