District-wide Contest! Theme: Why I, or we, fell in love with the ASL/Chinese/French/Italian/Spanish language! Audience: Future LOTE students and community members or anyone in the world that visits our pages. Format: A student or a group of students will create a video-podcast or PowerPoint to showcase their passion for the language in which they have selected for formal study. Please be creative. A rubric will be provided on the LOTE webpage to provide you with specific guidelines. Also, please be aware that Copyright Laws must be respected. Once you or your group enters the contest, guidelines will be available so as to not infringe upon the law. Eligibility: Any HHH student enrolled in a LOTE course. Levels: Winners will be selected from the middle school level and from the high school level. Due: TBD Prize: The winning projects representing the middle school and high school level will be posted for the entire school year on the language specific LOTE webpage and it will welcome visitors to that page as to why the language you selected is so meaningful and important to study. Your name(s) will be posted as well. In addition, you will be recognized at a Board of Education meeting. A LOTE t-shirt will be given.
