Artist's Statement

The storm comes from within. Her anxious tears flow over her on her wedding day, washing out one of her happiest moments. An umbrella offers a glimmer of hope that shields her from the worst of the rain. She reaches out and her love stands there with her, offering comfort within the eye of the internal storm.
