Project Type and Location Creation of BIM Models with LOD-300 for a park in California
Client Profile: A building construction company from the USA. It is into the Construction & Engineering Business since 80 years.
Client Requirements: Client provided initial architectural drawings to Hitech as basis to create structural drawings and thereby create a Revit BIM model for LOD 300 standards.
Project Challenges: The structural drawings was missing in the file. We made a structure model on the basis of assumption from the architectural drawings provided by the client. Later the client provided us with a hand sketch which was 90% accurate to what we had assumed.
Our Inputs & Solution: We had pdf files as a inputs and we converted it into intelligent BIM models using Revit. Next step we created 3D Revit Models with different disciplines like Architectural, Structural & MEP. After that we started to look into the coordination between the models, so called Clash Detection & were successful in scrutinizing all the clashes. We provided material take off & project completion schedules to client to reduce overall project time, cost for the error free and smoother construction process.
