OPENING SENTENCES PRAYER

HYMN ..................... ........... .. /'The Church is one Foundation"

1. The church's one foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord; she is his new creation by water and the Word. From heaven he came and sought her to be his holy bride; with his own blood he bought her, and for her life he died.

2. Elect from every nation, yet one o'er: aU the earth; her charter of salvation, one Lord, one faith, one birth; one holy name she blesses, partakes one holy food, and to one hope she presses, with every grace.endued.

3.Thougb with a scornful wonder we see her sore oppressed, by schisms rent asunder, by heresies distressed, yet saints their watch are keeping; their cry goes up, "How long?" And soon the night of weeping shall be the mom of song.

4. Mid toil and tribulation, and tumult of her war, she waits the conswnmation of peace forevermore; till, with the vision glorious, her longing eyes are blest, and the great church victorious shall be the church at rest.

S. Yet she on earth hath union with God the Three in One, and mystic sweet communion with those whose rest is won. 0 happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we like them, the meek and lowly, on high may dwell with thee.

.'There's a Land That Is Fairer than Daj''

There's a land that is fairer than day, And by faith we can see it afar; For the Father waits over the way To prepare us a dwelling place there.

Chorus

In the sweet in the sweet By and by by and by, We shall meet on that beautiful shore; In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

We shan sing on that beautiful shore

The melodious songs of the blest, And our spirits shall sonow no more

Not a sigh for the blessing of rest.

To our bountiful father above We will offer our tribute of praise; For the glorious gift of His love And the blessings that hallow om days.

HY"MN "When Peace Like a River'

When peace, like ariver, attendeth My sin 0, the bliss of this glorious my way, thought!

It is wen ... with my soul... ... my soul! It is well, it is well with my soul

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, Let this blestassurance control, That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And has shed his own blood for my soul.

0 Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as a scroll, The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend; "Even so" it is well with my soul.
