Refrigerator Notes
20 years!
That’s right—20 years of bringing parents, grandparents, and caregivers just like you the best in local resources for kids.
Kathy and Rob, my good friends, published the rst Greater Spring eld Kids Directory in April 2003. At the time, I was the marketing and public relations director for Dickerson Park Zoo. When they rst approached me about advertising in this publication, I immediately recognized the value of this free, advertiser-supported magazine.
Over the years, Kathy and I developed a close friendship that included occasional lunches. So, in March 2017, when Kathy said she was ready to retire from publishing and looking for a buyer, it didn’t take long for me to decide I wanted to take the reins of Kids Directory.
Owning Kids Directory has been an amazing experience—and all of us here are on a mission to bring you the most reliable, highest quality resources to enrich your children’s lives.
Thank you for 20 great years! We’re looking ahead to many, many more. |
