Newsletter Inverness College UHI
Issue 1 I August 2013
Welcome to the August 2013 edition of the Miller Construction Inverness College UHI Newsletter. This is the first in a series of newsletters to keep you up to date with the works taking place on site.
This shows you where the Inverness College UHI sits in the wider Inverness Campus. Inverness Campus will also feature a range of facilities for the use by the local community as well as those studying, living and working on the Campus. There will be an exciting mix of sports and recreational amenities, all located within an attractive, landscaped parkland setting. The site will be a gathering place where people work, learn, and spend their leisure time. Investment in new roads, paths, cycle-ways and public transport will ensure the Campus is well connected to the city of Inverness and beyond. In addition, Miller Construction are building a single storey learning facility for Scottish School of Forestry at Balloch. Work will commence Winter 2013 and we will issue further details nearer the time.

Miller supports Highland Hospice We have chosen Highland Hospice as our site charity for Inverness College UHI. Highland Hospice does amazing work supporting patients and their families from initial diagnosis to the final days. They run counselling sessions plus occupational and physical therapy sessions as well as inpatient and outpatient care from their base in Inverness. We are proud to be able to help raise funds for this service that supports patients from Moray to the Islands. We are encouraging as many people as possible to take part in the Kilts Up Ben Nevis walk to raise money for Highland Hospice. If you are interested in taking part or donating some funds, please follow the links on this page
