Approved Therapeutic Riding Instructor Education and CTRI Preparation For those who started their certification process before October 31, 2019 certification opportunities under the PATH Intl. TRI process will be held through June 2021. You can take any of the following options: 1. High Hopes’ 16-Day Approved Training Course September 2020, or January 2021, start dates. High Hopes Pre-Requisites for Candidates: • • • • • •
Be at least 21 years of age. Hold current PATH Intl. Membership. Be certified in child and adult CPR & First Aid. Have knowledge of basic stable management and horse care. Be able to ride at an advanced beginner level or higher (walk, trot, canter, leads, diagonals and simple riding patterns). Prior experience of riding instruction or volunteer experience in a therapeutic riding program are strongly encouraged.
