Movie Night at The Park

Anew event has been created for 2022. In collaboration with the Performing Arts Center of Highlands, there will be an outdoor movie projected in Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park. Starting at dusk, enthusiasts will gather to inspect actual vehicles that participated in the Cannonball Run in 1975, a coast-to-coast road race that gained national fame and inspires several movies. Following a presentation by the original drivers of these vehicles, Hal Needham’s 1981 movie The Cannonball Run will be screened. Admission is free to the public. Folding chairs recommended.
