In ’n ander geval in dieselfde area is ’n man met 12-pakkies Crystal Meth in sy besit gevind. Kolonel Bhembe van die provinsie het die polisie geluk gewens met die groot arrestasie en die publiek gevra om die polisie te help waar moontlik.

Die provinsie is nou deel van die Suid -Afrikaanse beheerliggaam PRSSA wat vroeër vanjaar aanvaar is tot SASCOC om provinsiale sowel as nasionale kleure toe te ken aan uitblinkers in die skiet disipline Practical and Tactical Long-Range Shooting Join the world of modern, real-world longrange precision rifle competitions, where shooters can stretch the legs of their rifles on steel gongs out to 1000m in dynamic practical scenarios. Our modern competition format is different to current old 'square-range' rifle events in that our ranges are set in natural environments and are designed by the match directors to challenge competitors in a variety of long-range shooting skills as well as positional shooting skills. Matches usually consist of 6-8 stages with up to 50 different gong targets per day. Stages are a mixture of Practical or Tactical stages and test various long range shooting skills. For 2 day events that equate to more than 100 different gong targets – more than any other type of long-range rifle competition in South Africa. • Read page 5 WITH relevance to the havoc a herd of cattle walking around without supervision is causing in Ly d e n b u r g , t h e Mpumalanga Parliament has also put out a warning that owners should take care of their animals. Earlier this week three sedans, four light delivery vehicles and two minibusses drove into cattle on the N4 toll road. This led to one driver and one passenger sustaining serious injuries. MEC for Safety Pat Ngomane has encouraged livestock owners to look after their cattle and do so responsibly. It is important for them to have herdsmen with t h e i r l i v e s t o c k .
THREE people died on the Roossenekal road earlier this week. The three people in the Avanza died on the scene and six others sustained serious injuries. The MEC Community Safety MEC Pat Ngomane has called on motorists to exercise due dilogence when on the road in order to avoid crashes.

Daar is besluit dat net een familielid buite die kompleks ‘n ekstra remote kan kry. Sodat iemand in ‘n noodgeval toegang kan verkry. Die katte se voerplek moet ook aangespreek word want niemand mag diere aanhou in Kiepersol nie. Die inwoners moet ook ordentlik met mekaar praat en mekaar aanspreek met maniere. Voertuie word beskadig as gevolg van die hektoegang wat verander is.

Dis jammer dat daar steeds enkele inwoners is wat nie by die reëls hou nie.

Honderde komberse ingesamel met Blanket Run Verskeie motorfietsryers, stalletjies en borge het saamgekuier om die Blanket Run vir God’s Home moontlik te maak op Saterdag 30 Maart by die Rooikatpark, Lydenburg. Die VF+ en motorfietsklubs in Lydenburg soos die Goodfollowers, Immortals, Lowveld, Dream Chasers en
Brotherwords, Descendants and Mac’s se lede het in baie groot getalle opgedaag. Daar was honderde mense en meer as 1 000 komberse is ingesamel. Die Immortals klub het die meeste pryse gewen vir die dag. Die motorfietsklubs doen ongelooflike baie welsynsprojekte en dankie aan elke vir hul puik werk.

Worsbroodjies is al te smaaklik
FOR months a herd of cattle have been walking around in Lydenburg without any supervision or owner that wants to claim them. Everything was still in order, till they started doing serious damage to guest house gardens. But they can also cause an accident. As some people will tell you a car accident involving livestock is horrific for all the parties concerned. No one wants to take ownership of these cattle. But, we are sure someone will as soon as it is threatened that they will be on a braai. TCM said that the cattle should be reported to them at 013 235 7300.

Better warranty for Datsun Go DATSUN South Africa has announced that all new vehicles sold under its brand from the start of March 2019 will be covered by an extended sixyear/150 000 km warranty. Before now, Datsun Go hatch and seven-seater Go+ models featured a threeyear/100 000 km warranty. As part of the lengthier warranty programme, the Nissan-backed firm also offers roadside assistance and access to a customer contact centre buyers can call toll-free at any hour of the day. In South Africa, Datsuns range currently comprises the Go hatchback (in 1,2 Mid and 1,2 Lux forms) as well as the Go+ (offered in the same specification levels, plus as a panel van). EARLIER this year, CARmag.co.za reported that an Australianbased executive of Mitsubishi admitted that the automaker sees an "opportunity" to build a hardcore version of the facelifted Triton bakkie to rival the Ford Ranger Raptor. James Tol, head of product planning at Mitsubishi Motors Australia, told motoring.com.au the automaker “will talk about that down the track". Now, the Japanese firm has lifted the wraps off the Triton Absolute the most rugged version in its bakkie line-up - at the 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show. According to Mitsubishi, the Absolute embodies the same "uncompromising nature", which underlies its lesser stablemates. However, these characteristics have now been amplified to make the Absolute "more solid and more rugged", and the company believes it will resonate strongly with pick-up enthusiasts. Adding to its robust appearance, the exterior has been equipped with extra kit, including protective body paneling and extended lighting systems. Mitsubishi is yet to announce whether this special version will receive engine upgrades. The time has come for Kevin Ruthven to at last take part in the trail run of a lifetime. His first step to personal growth and victory starts on 10 April for the 2019, 3rd Edition of The Munga Trail race which will start at Lakenvlei Forest Lodge. The route follows the escarpment in a North Easterly direction for 400km before finishing on the rim of the 3rd largest canyon in the world: The Blyde River Canyon. The route will make use of forestry roads, jeep tracks, single tracks, the odd railway line and virgin grassland on occasion. The route will use district dirt roads only when necessary. Runners will pass through private land, forestry areas and nature reserves. Runners will navigate primarily by GPS. The route files will be made available prior to the race. Where possible and necessary, route markings will be used in conjunction with the GPS. The race is limited to single runners. There is no seeding and anyone can enter. Everyone starts in one bunch at the same time, and the race is non-stop, so just one stage. The Munga Trail is semi-supported. There are five race villages along the race route, spaced roughly 80km apart from the start. At each of these villages runners will be able to eat and sleep, but they do not have to stop at the village or sleep if they don't want to. It is totally up to them. Apart from the five race villages runners will also have access to water points every 30 to 40kms. No runner will be allowed to have support from outside in any physical form. Runners will not have access to a bag during the race, only at the finish, so everything they will need outside the support stations will have to be carried with them. Rolbalspan maak geskiedenis met spelers uit eie bodem

ie Mpalanga o.20 A-span het tweede gekom in die Suid-Afrikaanse Rolbalkampioenskappe onder 20 Nasionale Kampioenskappe wat vanaf 25 tot 29 Maart in Bloemfontein plaasgevind het. Dit is die eerste keer in die geskiedenis dat Mpumalanga ‘n medalje gewen het. Die A-span het bestaan uit twee spelers van die HoĂŤveld Kyle Griffiths, wat derde speel vir die Ermelo Rolbalklub en die span skipper, Keaton Erasmus (Bethal Rolbalklub). Die res van die span het bestaan uit Juan Buckingham (tweede) en Marli Truter (lead) beide van die Lydenburg in die Laeveld met Jerry Gertzen (afrigter) en Bertie Silwer medalje wenners Mpumalanga A, Jerry Gertzen (afrigter), Marli Truter (lead), Keaton Erasmus (skip), Juan Erasmus (spanbestuurder).
