RANE dam op in haar oë as sy van die vryheid vertel wat sy ervaar. Vir die eerste keer in 14 maande kan me. Bets van Asgewen uit haar rystoel opstaan en kort entjies stap. Sy is die eienaar van nuwe lemme wat soos prosteses help om haar te laat loop. Mnr. Org Rautenbach, Ortotis en Prostese Spesialis van Nelspruit, het hierdie wonderlike lemme vir haar gemaak.

Dit pas in ’n paar tekkies in. Sy loop nou so drie ure met die lemme en moet dan rus. Me. Bets van Aswegen se man, Tinus, het in Januarie by die Highlands Panorama Nuus aangeklop vir hulp. ’n Berig is geplaas wat oor tannie Bets se toestand uitgebrei het. Onder meer dat ’n moontlike bakteriële infeksie veroorsaak het dat sy haar voete verloor het. Haar voete is in die Steve Biko Hospitaal geamputeer in 2011. Die volgende dag het ds. Abel Steyn van die Gereformeerde Kerk Lydenburg laat weet dat die kerk se Diakonie die fonds vir tannie Bets gaan administreer. Binne weke was die koeël deur die kerk (by wyse van spreke) en tannie Bets het Woensdag 27 Februarie haar nuwe bene ontvang. Ds. Steyn het gesê dat baie skenkers graag anoniem wil bly, maar dat dit ’n “wonderwerk” is dat Lydenburg se harte oopgegaan het om hierdie pragtige vrou se “lewe so te verander”. Tannie Bets moet steeds vir ’n geruime tyd fisioterapie ontvang asook behandeling. Hierdie is die begin van groot dinge vir tannie Bets wat baie lief is vir tuinmaak. Diegene wat wil betrokke raak by die fonds kan ds. Steyn skakel by 013 235 2457 of 082 496 3077. Tannie Bets het haar dank uitgespreek teenoor ds Abel Steyn, Gereformeerde Kerk se Kerkraad en lidmate, almal wat finansieël bygedra het sowel as die mense wat vir haar gebid het, Org Rautenbach vir die maak van die prosteses, dr. Steenkamp van die Lydenburg Mediese Sentrum wat haar van die begin af bygestaan het en sy wil ook vir Michelle Boshoff van die Highlands Panorama Nuus bedank wat die bal aan die rol gesit het. ’n Halfuur na die fotosessie Maandag het tannie Bets teruggebel en gesê sy het amper die belangrikste van alles vergeet. “Alle dank aan die Here, die Almagtige wat vir ons sorg tot in lengte van dae.” Sy was weer in trane maar ten minste was dit hierdie keer ‘goeie’ trane.’ Foto’s regs en links me. Skaapkop wei bring groener weivelde VOORVERLEDE week se skaapkopeet by Toyota, gereël deur Lydenburg se nieamptelike “Skaapkopgilde”, het ’n baie positiewe gevolg gehad. Tydens dié aand is ’n glasbeker op die tafel geplaas en elke deelnemer (daar was 26 van hulle) het R100 of meer in die glas geplaas vir liefdadigheid. Allerlei boetes is ook dié aand opgelê aan deelnemers vir flou grappies, onvanpaste

woordkeuses, swak toesprakies, klagtes of ’n gemor oor die skaapkoppe ens. Dit was groot pret en teen die einde van die aand is die mooi bedrag van R3 600-00 vir Rusoord ingesamel. Op die foto oorhandig Fanie Erasmus (jnr) van Lydenburg Toyota die bedrag aan Jeanetta Kruger (Bestuurder Rusoord). Rusoord spreek graag sy dank uit teenoor al die manne wat betrokke was!

A reality check Love: a confusing roller coaster ride

By Vusi Mabuso, as quoted by Leeza Ballack from Lydenburg: We have now for far too long shrugged our shoulders and hid behind our traditions on the one hand and on the other we want to sit at the UN and pretend we have the wisdom to help decide the fate of other countries. In this world we need to merge with, you have: 1.One wife. You sleep around, you die. 2. You have more kids than you can provide for, they starve and when they grow up they will steal to survive because you didn't have enough money to send them to a decent school. Some government schools are a complete waste of time because the teachers are never in class. 3. You can’t sell or trade with your daughters. They are not consumer goods. 4. You study or qualify as an artisan so you can earn your own keep and build your own house. There isn't enough money going around to build 40 million free houses. You can wait until the sun burns itself out, it is not going to happen. So live with it. 5. Forget the white man's wealth. So until we move ourselves forward and merge ourselves with the world, we will remain primitive. So many years after independence you don't dance from Beyers Naude Drive to the JSE and have foreign journalists film your insanity in the name of freedom. We were freed 19 years ago, embrace it and use your freedom to trade with the world, not crash your own stock market. We can march up to the Union Buildings until the cows come home. We are not going to move ourselves forward until we free ourselves from ourselves!

Hoorhierso, ek is iemand wat nogal logies oor iets kan dink. Maar die huidige wetgewing oor sekere sake in ons land is bloot onlogies. Die e-Tol en sekere ander wette soos die vir plaaswerkers se loonaanpassing is skoon verwarrend. Ek het met ’n boer van die distrik gepraat hierdie naweek. Hulle sal noodgedwonge van hul arbeiders moet laat gaan. Gelukkig is daar ’n paar wat bereid is om vir ’n verhoging te werk wat die boere aanbeveel. Die een ding wat ek nou wil verban is aanhoudende beriggewing oor stories waar daar nie iets nuut gebeur het nie. Soos bv. Oscar. Sy saak begin in Mei. Kan ons dan nie maar eers in Mei-maand eers weer oor hom hoor nie. Ons moet nou maar so mal soos Amerikaners word en oor snaakse goed wette maak. Hulle is voor in die koor met eienaardige en sinnelose reëls. In Illinois is dit byvoorbeeld onwettig om gesig vir 'n hond te trek. Die mees interessante wet is in Iowa waar perde verbied word om brandkrane te eet. Het julle al sulke verspotte goed gehoor? Tog bestaan die wette. Ek sal definitief nie my blinkvosperd by ’n brandkraan in Iowa staanmaak nie, die borgtog gaan te duur wees. En in Maryland is dit teen die wet om 'n leeu na die bioskoop toe te vat. In Minnesota mag mens nie die staatsgrens oorsteek met ’n eend op sy kop nie. Die wette van Mede en Perse, samelewing se etiese voorskrifte, sosiale voorskrifte en Emsie Schoeman se etiketreëls. Gelukkig is daar nog die vrye siele onder ons wat hulle nie in ’n blik laat druk nie en soms ’n traak-my-nie-agtigehouding openbaar. Almal van ons het seker ’n komiese staaltjie te vertelle hoe ons amper in die kookpot beland het. Hoorhiersô, behalwe dit het almal nog hul eie persoonlike reëls, voorskrifte, bepalings en wette. Hoe kan mens ooit aan almal se standaarde voldoen? Reëls, reëls en nogmaals reëls. Berge val op my, heuwels bedek my!

AGS Rehobot en Volle Evangelie Kerke stel mooi voorbeeld J. Strüwig van Lydenburg skryf: Na aanleiding van die berig op 28 Februarie naamlik ‘Span saam vir groot basaar’. Die AGS Rehobot Gemeente en die Volle Evangelie Kerk in Lydenburg gaan saam basaar hou. Volgens Frik Rousseau, Lelievlei se Direkteur, wat reeds langer as 30 jaar in Lydenburg woon, is dit die eerste keer wat twee verskillende kerke saam basaar hou. Dit is ’n mooi voorbeeld van samewerking. Beide kerke gee gereeld skenkings aan Lelievlei en lewer dienste by Lelievlei. Dit is nou die inwoners van Lelievlei se beurt om dankie te sê en ons gaan die basaar in groot getalle kom ondersteun. Ons gaan ook al ons vriende buite Lydenburg aanmoedig om die basaar te ondersteun.

And I am told that not even half of Lydenburg’s business owners are members of the Business Chamber. I see the same thing happening with BNI. Here we have a group of diverse businesses whose owners get together for a short weekly meeting, who learn a lot from each other, even if they

You see them walking away, and you wonder if you should run after them and tell them how you feel, that you want them and don't want to live without that person. He is so wrong but completely right. I have studied his expression lines on his face and his reactions to things that are said. When he doubts himself or struggles to stick by his decision his jaw tightens. Or when he knows he is talking nonsense he starts to smile, and every time someone gets to close to his heart, he gets all tough and say things he doesn't always mean. He always sighs and say “o sh@!” when he has a lot to think about or thinks something is surreal. He over-thinks something and gets scared cause he is afraid he will get hurt cause his heart gets vulnerable and he starts losing control and he doesn't like that. He likes to be in control of his emotions and feelings. And he likes to know where he is going. I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth but it all adds up to him; all the little things he doesn't like about himself, are the things that make me realize how much I care for this man's heart. His smile gets to me and his eyes speak a thousand words. His presence leaves you with a feeling of comfort and safety. His soul is kind, his heart of gold even though he tries to protect it with a wall made of steel.

just copy or emulate some of the strategies that they see and hear about, and yet there are many misconceptions and animosity towards these different business fora. It is like Freemasonry. Everyone purports to be experts on Freemasonry and equates their existence with something sinister, without having a clue what this is all about. If and when they do research, they read only those comments that fit their preconceived ideas. Or they identify one person in the organisation that they do not like and assume everyone else is like that. How short sighted. What totally beats me, is that a business exists because of its clients. It exists because the owner is well known,

respected, trusted or whatever. Human relations form the core of good business. You do not have to like someone to join a group. That is probably the last reason you should join. If the group is “closed”, do’nt bash it. Get over it and join another! No, you join because there are other people facing the same challenges and obstacles as you do. You join because you interact with them, even if they are your competitors. You get to know them. You learn about their likes and dislikes. You communicate. Don’t ask what is in it for you. Listen. Observe. Talk. You are getting information all the time. Information is power. You might find a small window of opportunity to do business. You might stumble upon a strategy that could assist you. You are learning. You are offering your experience and assistance. From that you gain much more than you invest. It is like marketing. If you are not there for everyone to see, how can you expect to grow your business? I honestly battle to understand why people disadvantage themselves, by not getting with the (several) programmes.

From page 2 Upon closer investigation it seemed as if the female wasn't lactating anymore but from personal experience it looked as if she had to have suckled cubs within a few weeks or months before. The chances were that she might have lost the cubs seeing that the mortality rates are extremely high in leopard within this system. The chances were also that she might have weaned the young and in my opinion these cubs could then have been between the ages of four to six months. Due to this possibility, I put in a huge effort together with the assistance of Mr. Hiemstra to see whether it was possible to locate the cubs, should they have still existed, by the use of dogs. After speaking to several dog handlers and professionals this seemed to be an extreme “needle in the haystack” situation, except for the fact that the dogs might be chasing after other fresh scent trails that they pick up on the road. Mr Hiemstra offered to place bits of meat with drags around the area to see if something responds to it. The only other hope that we had was the possibility of someone seeing these cubs and reporting their locality. The carcass was placed in a fridge for further preservation. If I had known about this unique specimen at the time of the call, I would have made a much more intense effort to save the skin of the cat. The chances are good that it can still be

mounted for a museum specimen, but due to the heat and time lapse, damage would have most probably crept in. The skin was also badly damaged from the impact of the vehicle. A similar mutation “type” leopard female which could also be another form closer to the albinism spectrum than the latest carcass, was also killed on the road when struck by a vehicle just outside the town of Ohrigstad on the R36 in the early 2000's. This animal is more of a lighter and browner colouration. Further arrangements are under negotiation regarding the unique and precious specimen. Short facts: 1. Was casually reported in 2001 by the late Mr. Gert Stoltz 2. First physical proof for region and most likely second for country. 3. Similar colour “type” female was killed in early 2000's on R36 just outside Ohrigstad town. This cat was not reported, but the colours seemed slightly browner and lighter. 4. Was an adult female weighing 48 kg's. 5. According to the teeth and ears the female was between the ages of 5 – 6 years. 6. Has most probably produced more than one litter of cubs considering her age. 7. Total body and head length 196 cm's. 8. No black colouration in any body part that usually contains black pigmentation, including the mouth, nose, footpads and eyelids. Carcass will be preserved for further research.

7 Maart / March 2013 Michelle Boshoff Mr Neels Bothma was called to remove a Rock Python from a farm near Roossenekal last week. The python was badly dehydrated. He took it to the Sterkspruit Veterinary Clinic w h e r e t h e veterinarians quickly administered treatment. The python is about 4m long and is doing well.

Hoe maak jy jou motor skoon? ’n MOTOR is naas jou huis jou duurste belegging. Inteendeel, jy spandeer veel meer geld op jou motor as op jou huis. Gaan werk uit hoeveel kos ’n tenk petrol en hoeveel keer maak jy vol in een week, of maand en dan per jaar en bepaal die koste. Jy sal verbaas wees. Jy verkoop jou motor meer gereeld as jou huis en jy moet die maksimum daarvoor kry as jy inruil. Jy kan net ’n redelike prys kry as jou motor uiters goed opgepas is. Jy stort elke dag, maar is minder blootgestel aan stof, insekte, blare en in ons omgewing, chroomstof wat harder as skuurpapier is, as jou motor. Maar jy was jou motor miskien net eenkeer per maand. Gaan kyk hoe lyk jou hoofligte van die sand en stof na slegs een jaar. Jy sien dit nie op die verf nie, maar jou motor lyk ook so. Glas is harder as jou motor se verf, so die verf word elke dag verniel op ons paaie. Waar parkeer jy jou motor? As dit heeldag in die son staan droog die politoer binne dae uit. Wat van boomgom, voëltjiemis en aangepakte modder onder die voertuig? As sulke modder nat word duur dit dae om uit te droog en roes jou motor. Jy moet dus jou motor baie gereeld professioneel was. Minstens eenkeer ’n maand. Een van my motors is 43 jaar oud en die ander 16 jaar en albei se verf is nog mooi. Ek was hulle behoorlik een keer per week en laat elke ses maande ’n “Full Valet” by ’n plaaslike motorwasplek doen. Die versorging van jou motor se voorkoms is dus ’n noodsaaklike deel van jou belegging. Jy kan jou motor professioneel laat was (dit kos minder as wat jy vir die chemikalieë en die arbeid betaal as jy dit self probeer doen) of jy kan dit tuis doen. Ons het gaan kers opsteek by Mnr. Jakes Schnetler, eienaar van die drie oudste motorwasplekke in Lydenburg (by Jocks, die Spur en Trout Inn), oor aspekte waaraan mens moet dink wanneer jy jou voertuig was. Jy benodig ’n hoëdrukspuit, PH geballanseerde SABS goedgekeurde wasmiddels en politoer (of top produkte van bv. Turtle Wax, Rally, of Mequirs. Jy het sagte lintvrye lappe (microfibre) en ’n goeie seemsleer nodig. Jy kry politoer in die wasmiddel (wash & wax) en vloeibare en room politoere. Die middels wat jy op leersitplekke, materiaalsitplekke, ander bekleedsel, plastiek en op jou bande gebruik, verskil elkeen. Jy kan nie een produk gebruik nie. Die middels vir jou bande is skadelik vir jou paneelbord en anders om. Stofsuig jy die bekleedsel en matte? Sand en stof skuur en vlek die materiale geweldig. ’n Ander aspek is dat jy jou motor in die koelte moet was met die bakwerk koud. ’n Warm voertuig se verf is sagter en meer kwesbaar. Die hitte veroorsaak ook dat die wasmiddels chemies verander en nie hulle werk doen

nie. In die son droog die verf onegalig en laat kolletjies of strepies op die verf vorm. Spuit die voertuig vooraf af om alle stof, sand, modder ens te verwyder. Moet nie te naby of te hard spuit met ’n hoëdrukspuit nie. Die vuilgoed word deur die spuit se druk “geskuur” wat skadelik is. Was dan met water en motorwas seep en politoer. Moenie huishoudelike seep gebruik nie. Dit haal al die politoer af. Was van bo na onder, spoel alle skuim af en droog van bo na onder met seemsleer of mikrovesel lappie. Droog vinnig af om strepe te voorkom. Maak jou bande en wielnisse skoon, want korrosie begin onder die motor. Motorwas is ’n wetenskap van sy eie. Dit benodig die regte middels, ervaring, tyd en vaardigheid. Jy kan nie enige ou van die straat af vat om jou motor te was nie. Ek het al hoeveel voertuie gesien wat gekrap is, net omdat die persoon wat was se gordel gespe die motor gekrap het as hy oor die voertuig leun. As jy nie die tyd het nie, laat verkieslik jou motor by ’n goeie motorwasplek gereeld professioneel skoonmaak. Dit is ’n belegging! Andre Coetzee.

A really low speed car chase WITH a top speed of about 50km/h, a second-hand 50cc moped would not be the getaway vehicle of choice for most criminals. But British cops pursuing James Phillips in a decidedly low-speed chase were determined not be beaten - and brought in a police helicopter. That wasn’t all. Four patrol cars were also drafted in as the moped buzzed along at 25km/h. And after a not-so nail biting chase through the streets of Bristol, the officers finally got their man. During the daylight pursuit, Phillips, 22, whose driving licence had previously been cancelled, was seen slowing down for speed bumps, but also mounted pavements and swerved dangerously in front of cars. Crew in the helicopter gave a running commentary on his progress and at one point emphasised the low speed he was riding at, telling colleagues on the ground: “Speed is 15 – one – five – miles an hour.”

“The aircraft’s observer will give a full radio commentary so officers on the road can intercept the vehicle and bring the pursuit to a safe conclusion.” He added: “Often the footage taken from the helicopter forms part of the evidence used to bring offenders to justice.” - Daily Mail

He was given a nine-month jail term suspended for 18 months, ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work and undergo a thinking skills programme. He was also banned from driving for three years, ordered to take an extended driving test and pay a victim surcharge of £100 (R1350). After the case one cop said: ‘You normally expect a bit of drama when the helicopter’s up and you hear there’s a chase on. But this was more like a guided tour. On that moped he was going nowhere fast.’ Asked why the helicopter was sent up, a police spokesman said: “Whenever a vehicle fails to stop for police, the helicopter is requested to manage the pursuit to reduce the risk to members of the public.

Man’s car “stolen” 21 times! AN elderly driver in Geelong, Australia, has finally found himself in court after slyly dodging his fines since the year 2000. The modus operandi? He simply reported his car as stolen every time he received a fine in the post. This amounts to 21 car theft reports, according to the Geelong Advertiser. The newspaper also reported that the fines, which were for speeding and skipping red lights, amounted to thousands of dollars and numerous demerit points. The man has pleaded guilty to three counts of "making a false document" and seven counts of "obtaining financial advantage by deception" and the court has slapped him with a mere 2500 AUD (R23 000) fine. Chances are that he would have gotten away with it had he only pulled the stunt 20 times as Police Prosecutor Siobhan Daly explained: "Police discovered it was the 21st time since 2000 that Hili had reported his car stolen. Ons toets die Toyota 86

Padhouvermoê is asemrowend. Die remme moet hard getrap word, maar bring spoed af in ’n oomblik. Ek verstaan nou hoekom Jeremy Clarkson so beïndruk was met die 86. En dit is ’n ou met meer ervaring as ek. ’n Ou wat elke dag met Ferrari’s, Lambo’s, Bentleys en sulke goed ry wat tien keer meer kos as die 86. Ek vra ’n oomblik van stilte vir die manne wat die 86 as ’n konsep die lig laat sien het ONS toets baie motors. Duur motors, intree motors, praktiese motors, familie en die guts gehad het om dit te bou. Dit sal nie die rekenmeesters gelukkig maak nie motors, ekonomiese motors en spieremotors. Vir ’n petrolkop soos ek, is ’n motor en sal waarskynlik nie in hordes verkoop nie. Maar dit bewys dat daar nog ouens is soos ’n vrou. Mooi, opwindend, ’n plek waar ek wil wees - goeie geselskap en plesier! wat ken van karre. Wat ’n passie het vir die voorreg om ’n motor te besit en te bestuur. Dit is onmoontlik om motors met mekaar te vergelyk, want daar is te veel klasse, Dankie Toyota, julle het my week gemaak! Andre Coetzee soorte en tipes. Ek het verlede week die Golf 7 getoets en het baie na aan die perfekte motor gekom. Maar hierdie week het ek deurmekaar geraak met iets anders. Die Toyota 86 moet die naaste wees aan ’n buite-egtelike verhouding, as wat ek nog ooit was. Dit is nie ’n praktiese motor nie. Dit is so laag dat ek moeilik in en uit klim. Die agtersitplek is bloot daar vir ornamentele doeleindes. Dit is nie besonder kragtig of vinnig nie (later meer hieroor). So, wat is spesiaal aan die 86? Glo my, dit is die een motor wat ek moet hê. Dit is die volmaakte speelding. Om dit te bestuur is die naaste wat jy ooit aan volle bevrediging op vier wiele kan kom. Om dit oor die berg op ’n kronkelpad te bestuur is verskriklik lekker. Maar jy moet nie skaam of bang wees nie. Jy moet aainies hê om die motor tot sy reg te laat kom. Jy kan nie roekeloos wees nie. Jy kan nie jou selfoon antwoord as jy hom ry nie. Jy wil nie. Jy moet gefokus wees. Jy moet iets weet van agterwieltrek. Jy moet hom mooi hanteer. Nie aggressief nie. Maar jy moet hom liefies piets. Jy moet vinniger deur ’n draai gaan as wat jy nog ooit was. En jy moet sy ratkas gebruik en naby die rooilyn bly. In elke rat. Jy moet een word met dié motor. Jou K53 kwalifikasie gaan dit nie vir jou doen nie. As ’n ferm, amper harde veerstesel, ’n sitplek wat jou ongenaakbaar vashou, ’n klein kajuit en enjingeraas nie vir jou is nie, moet nie eers probeer nie. Jy sal nie van die 86 hou nie. Maar as jy jonk is met min ervaring, gaan doen ’n paar gevorderde bestuurskursusse, of as jy soos ek ’n ou hond is, bêre jou drank en sigarette en gaan haal diep uit jou ervaring en pak die 86 met albei hande. Jy gaan lekker kry tot in jou kleintoontjie! Die 2-liter boxer viersilinder kom uit Subaru se stal. Lae swaartepunt. Wye rooilyn. Goeie kraglewering en wringkrag (onthou hierdie is nie ’n turboenjin nie) van 147 kW by 7 000 en 205 Nm by 6 500 werk goed in die kompakte bakwerk. Kyk na die syfers, die enjin wil “rev”. Die sesspoed handratkas se kort kierie gooi soos ’n skakelaar. Klik -klik. En die ratte is by mekaar. Hou die rooilyn dop. Daar is nie tyd om in jou neus te sit en krap nie. Stuurinsette is direk en kort. Jy moet wakker wees. Al die gebruiklike luukses (klank, USB, lugversorging ens.) en veiligheidskenmerke is daar. Gaan kyk daarna op Google. Ek noem hulle nie eers nie, want dit gaan hier net oor een ding - suiwer en rou bestuursplesier. As jy die motor ry en dit doen niks vir jou nie, vergeet dit. Gaan kook of drink ’n bier, want jy sal nie verstaan nie.

When transfer goes through and those bond repayments kick in, you'll already be in the habit of putting money aside every month. “It's good to get into the practice of saving because owning a home comes with maintenance andupkeep expenses,” says Dyer. “Your bond repayment isn't the only expense involved in owning a new home, so financial discipline is important when you take this step.” Having a deposit naturally also decreases your monthly bond repayments. “While it is common sense that the more you pay upfront, the less you'll pay over time, few people realise quite how much they will save in interest over the term of their bond if they have a deposit,” says Dyer. Using the ooba calculator, it's possible to work out that on a R1-million home, with no deposit, at an 8.5% interest rate, the monthly bond payments will be R8,678, and the total amount repaid will be R2,082,776. But with a 10% deposit on the same home, and with the same interest rate, the monthly bond payments will

be R7,810, and the total repaid will be R1,874,498 – a saving of more than R100 000 (given that you've already put down R100 000 as a deposit). As a further benefit, having the deposit can also put you in a stronger position to negotiate with your bank to decrease your interest rate. “A deposit puts you in a stronger position to negotiate on your interest rate because it gives the bank confidence in you, and because they are taking less of a risk on financing your property,” says Dyer. “Even a small reduction in the interest rate can save you thousands of rand over a 20-year bond term.” There's no question that saving for a deposit is the best first step to buying a home. So, even if you're only considering purchasing a home in the next few years, Dyer advises that you start putting money aside as soon as possible. Entheos Christian Schoolâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Cornelle Leach participated in the SACSSA (South African Christian Schools Sports Association) National Swimming Gala in Delville Swimming Pool in st Germiston on Friday 1 & nd Saturday 2 March 2013. Cornelle swam the 50m Freestyle in 38.5 seconds and the 50m Breast stroke in 51.7 seconds. Cornelle did not receive a Medal but is ranked in the top 8 in those two events. Well done, Cornelle!

In November 2012, a soccer team called Peacemakers w a s s t a r t e d . The team is owned by Joseas Moganedi and coached by Sipho Skhosana. The practice times are Tuesday to Friday from 17:00 to 19:00 at Ext 6 ground. They also have a u.15 development team who practice Monday to Friday 15:00 till 16:00.
