Admission to each program varies
• 1 year, 2 year, and 2 year transfer open to anyone at least 16 years old • 4 year degree selective— must finish AAS degree connected to that particular field of study • BAS Degree Requirements

Kaplan intermediate level (level 3)
If starting from Kaplan, agent requests short-term CLA letter from Highline
No transfer early unless student has short-term CLA from Highline before arrival
Important Dates, etc. Entry dates at Highline may change year to year • Fall—usually 3rd or 4th week in September • Winter—1st week of January • Spring—1st week of April • Summer—last week of June
IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind that it is important to submit documents early enough so that students can have their visa interview and make flight and housing arrangements to Seattle
Flights should be to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and students must attend orientation which usually is 2 weeks before the quarter begins

• Highline admission—Level 4 (high intermediate) • CLAs possible from Highline College’s 4-year university partners • Kaplan’s University Placement Program by booking with Kaplan for at least 16 weeks
Insurance Requirements Student coverage: $366 per quarter Spousal coverage: $366 per quarter
Insurance mandatory for all students
