Manchester, NH – When the COVID-19 pandemic began sweeping through New Hampshire, Mark and Sally Stebbins, owners of PROCON, called Patrick Tufts, president and CEO of Granite United Way, and said, “What can we do to help?”

Tufts had already been hearing about the immediate needs New Hampshire residents were facing. Granite United Way’s initiative 211 NH was identified by the governor as the resource information line for COVID-19 in early March. Since that announcement, the specialists at 211 NH have taken more than 24,000 calls.

Mark and Sally Stebbins stepped right up and asked how they could help. Their commitment to improving lives across our community is inspirational.”

Granite United Way had created a COVID-19 Relief Fund, and the Stebbins family offered a $100,000 Challenge Match, offering to match dollar for dollar until April 20. The Stebbins Family Challenge Match incentivizes donors to help bring more than half a million dollars in support to the community.
