You know when you’ve got a good thing and this is it! From Germany, GET OVER IT is the new modern, hard rock album from HARTMANN. Lineup includes vocalist / guitarist OLIVER HARTMANN, guitarist MARIO RECK, bass guitarist ARMIN DONDERER and drummer MARKUS KULLMAN. Slowly beginning with a platform of guitar and drums is track 01 Remedy. HARTMANN’s distinctive vocal has a nice slow vibrato and reminded me of the great singer, IAN GILLIAN. It also showcases a very nice long guitar solo. Track 02 One Step Behind begins with a 4 - bar instrumental intro , two part vocal harmony and contains a great hook. All of them are excellent musicians with great instincts and know how to achieve the sound they want. Showing another side to them is track 03 called In Another Life. On track 06 Just Drive, I believe it will give you your hint of country. Smooth. Nearing the end of the album is the title track #09, Get Over It. A hot number with extraordinary back-up vocals and a catchy hook, making it a natural for the radio waves! GET OVER IT contains eleven tunes and for me, may include a reference to DEEP PURPLE and a trace of TOM PETTY come to mind. Co - produced by SASCHA PAETH (AVANTASIA, KAMELOT) , the whole album has a great flow from start to finish. Looking forward to a USA tour. https://oliverhartmann.com/
