#CBHNP – Cape Breton Highlands National Park, requires Park Entry Pass. In 2017, they are free. All Hikes are first come first serve. Register early! Limit of 20 hikers per guide. No dogs allowed on hikes.

Climb to New Heights - The Highlands of Cape Breton are situated on the world-renowned Cabot Trail and offer some of the most spectacular coastal scenery and hiking trails in the world. A portion of this significant example of Canada’s natural heritage has been designated as a national park. Fourteen out of the twenty-five guided hikes featured in this year’s festival are within the Cape Breton Highlands National Park!
