Bed 2 forms the backdrop to the garden as a whole. It is a long, shallow and shady area that interest can be added to - dominated by existing bamboo, cotoneaster and a semi-mature tree.

Bed 3 is a thin raised bed that butts up to the garage and creates a soft edge to look over from the pergola. There is a great opportunity to train climbing plants up the garage wall from this bed.
