Prepare your house • If you live near bush area you are at risk of having a bushfire in your house or near your house. • It is safe for your family to have a survival guide if you live near bush land or are surrounded by it. • To prepare your home for a fire make sure you regularly clean up your garden and rake all your leaves make sure you fill up all the gaps in your home make sure no wood is piled up against your house or pile of leaves because that would start a fire.

Prepare your family and what to include in your kit. • To prepare yourself for a bushfire you will need a survival kit in the general items you will need a portable battery and a radio to hear all the latest news for bushfires a water proof torch spare battery’s and a first aid kit and lots of woollen blankets because how knows where you will be sleeping.

Hoe to act in a bushfire • When a bushfire occurs you must stay calm and pack up your belongings and if you have followed my guide you will mostly be safe and organised.
Listen out for news about bushfires • If a bushfire has occurred or is near you listen out for the radio or check online because the bushfire may be coming your way and may need to get ready to evacuate.
Evacuate • When you are getting ready for evacuation pack your own stuff then get your general items that you would of packed if you followed my guide!!! Listen out to the latest news on the radio or internet once you have checked that you have everything be calm and leave the house.
