I don’t really notice anything. When I was a little kid, I was embarrassed by it. Now, I think it’s kinda cool. When I am 80 (years old) I get to say I am 20, which is cool. Have you ever felt different because your birthday is not every year?

Not really. I remember when I was little, I was first starting to understand what a leap year birthday is, and my older cousins would make fun of me for only being one and I didn’t understand why because I thought I was four.

Since your birthday officially falls every four years, how do you celebrate? Normally I celebrate on both Feb. 28 and March 1, which is nice because I get two days to celebrate my birthday. How old are you turning and how will you celebrate?

I am going to be 16 (years old), or four in leap years. I don’t know of anything special I am doing this year.

What is your favorite birthday memory? Normally when I have a leap year birthday, my grandparents come over so that is something fun.

What is a leap year? A year that occurs once every four years, that has 366 days including February 29 as an intercalary day
