DoSeum - Under One Sky

When: Jan - May 2021 Where: 2800 Broadway, SATX We all live under the same sky. Join The DoSeum for a special installation by San Antonio-based artist Mark Menjivar. In this immersive display, photographs of the San Antonio sky will adorn The DoSeum lobby, featuring special messages of hope and promise from the youth of our city. This special installation is presented in partnership with CAST Schools.

McKenna Children's Museum - Wonder Shop

When: Weekly on Thursdays at 10:00 and 1:00 (or by appt.) Where: 801 W. San Antonio St., NBTX Who's ready to make some art? McKennas Art Studio i sstanding by with painting and drawing supplies, ready to help foster expression and creativity. Featuring a face painting station, easels for painting and a weekly craft!

Poteet Strawberry Festival

When: April 9-11, 2021 Where: Poteet, TX Held annually in April, the festival has 14 areas of continuous entertainment featuring concerts with nationally known Country Western and Tejano stars, regional bands, gunslingers, carnival, various contests, and rodeo performances. There is something for the whole family!

Origami in the Garden

When: through May 19, 2021 Where: SA Botanical Garden Making its Texas debut, this incredible outdoor sculpture exhibition created by Santa Fe artists, Jennifer and Kevin Box, captures the delicate nature of the origami paper art form in museum quality metals. Displayed within beautiful garden settings are examples of what can be folded from a single piece of paper such as soaring birds, gliding airplanes, galloping ponies, floating boats, and emerging butterflies.

New Braunfels Farmers Market

When: Weekly on Saturdays from 9-1 Where: 186 S. Castell Ave., NBTX The Farmers Market, offers the community access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, dairy products, baked goods, pastureraised meats, fresh cheeses, wines, eggs and much more!
