FAIR OAKS RANCH

City Council - Place 5 Local businessman J.C. Taylor running for Fair Oaks Ranch City Council

Fair Oaks Ranch has been near and dear to my heart for my entire life and I’m running for City Council to ensure the outstanding quality of life we enjoy here...

J.C. Taylor, an executive at family-run Texas Star Nut and Food in Boerne, has officially filed to be a candidate for Fair Oaks Ranch City Council, Place 5. It is his first run for elective office. J.C. is the closest thing there is to an adult native of Fair Oaks Ranch. His family was one of the original purchasers of land from Ralph Fair and J.C. was a student in the inaugural class at Fair Oaks Ranch elementary school. “Fair Oaks Ranch has been near and dear to my heart for my entire life and I’m running for City Council to ensure the outstanding quality of life we enjoy here is passed to future generations, just like it

was to me,” Taylor said. “Fair Oaks Ranch is where my wife Chantelle and I have chosen to live and raise our own family, so managing the growth of our community responsibly to preserve and protect the unique character of our community for future generations is my number one priority,” Taylor continued. “The current Council has done a terrific job over the last five years and I’d like to build on their success while offering my own youthful exuberance to the team.” Taylor listed his other priorities as effectively managing the city budget, maintaining and improving city services and infrastructure, and

ensuring transparency and attentiveness to the needs of citizens. Taylor is a graduate of Boerne High School and UTSA, where he earned a BBA in General Business. He is currently VP of Marketing for Texas Star Nut Company, his family’s business where he has worked in various capacities since he was 13. J.C. and his wife Chantelle are the proud parents of four children. The family is also raising three horses and two dogs on their property in Fair Oaks Ranch.
