Needless to emphasize that child educa on is least eec ve without con nual home-school partnership. Although the parents can meet & discuss with teachers any me through out the year with prior appointment a er school hours, yet the parent-teacher mee ngs (PTM'S) provides the right kind of forum for collabora ve thinking on the child's academic progress and social development. Parents should take advantage of the parent-teacher mee ngs by ensuring that they a end these mee ngs without fail. Parents who are involved with their children both at home and in school are more likely to take much be er care of their child's holis c development. The parent-teacher mee ngs provide the best opportunity for the parents to engage with the teachers which have the greatest impact on their child's future. Teachers give them a clear picture on what their child is learning in the class and how his/her performance during assessments & assignments. We are also having Paren ng workshops which give parents the conďŹ dence they need to competently raise children. Most paren ng lessons and courses are fueled and taught by experienced trainers. This is the perfect pla orm for parents to share their best prac ces in upbringing the children with other parents. Student speakers will also get an opportunity to present their ideas. There are no classes during paren ng workshops for students. Four paren ng workshops are conducted in an academic year and all are compulsory for parents to a end and your a endance carries marks and will be entered in the progress card of your ward.
