How was Germany after the Holocaust?

How did the holocaust start?

In 1933 the Jews were blamed for Germany's social, economics and political problem. Later on in 1939 Poland was a home for three million Jews, which got invaded by Germany. Just a few month later Jews were thrown in prisons to starve, catch dieses, and lack of sanitation. Holocaust took place in the second world war.Adolf hitler was the leader of the Nazi party. Him and his fellow Nazis were using the government to target jews (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC, 2020).

“The Nazis believed that the world was divided into distinct races and that some of these races were superior to others.” (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC, 2020)

This chart explains the amount of lives that got lost during this horrible event. (Buchholz, 2021)

Who did this?

Adolf Hitler was not a positive judgment in history because of his poor actions. He rose to power when he joined the German Workers party. That later on turned into the Nazi party. His “skills” turned him into the leader of that party. ( History.com, 2009)

“Hitler did not invent the hatred of Jews. Jews in Europe had been victims of discrimination and persecution since the MiddleAges, often for religious reasons. Christians saw the Jewish faith as an aberration that had to be quashed. Jews were sometimes forced to convert or they were not allowed to practise certain professions.”(Smilde, nd)

Who did this effect?

This tragic event affected many lives. Not just Jews were targeted but so were gays and people with disabilites. The ways of killing that happened were chambers and shooting squads. Many families were split because of this.

“ Bodies lie piled against the walls of a crematory room in a German concentration camp in Dachau, Germany. The bodies were found by U.S. Seventh Army troops who took the camp on May 14, 1945.” (Taylor, 11)

The End

Germany after the holocaust there were alot of jews who were still affected by it but the nazis are getting punished for there crimes. They were charged for 4 crimes and weren't able to get hitler and the main leader were not in court because they commit sucide around the end of war. 12 nazis were sentenced to death. Everything in german that include something about nazis was taken down.Till this day anything of nazi continues to be illegal.(United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC, 2020)
