Protection & Finishing

Having made your product, you need protection during its final finishing operations or when its shipped or stored. Greentree offer over 12,000 different standard products in both metric and imperial sizes and threads, readily available to ship to you. From hydraulic fittings or flange protection, to electronic connectors they are designed to protect the most delicate or robust of threads, studs, apertures and surfaces from the egress of surface finishing operations, dirt or damage. Designs that are easy and fast to fit and remove, such as anti-static, rust resistant, high or low temperature, dip or injection moulded caps, thread protectors, pipe and flange protectors and much more. All you need from a single source to protect your components from damage and unnecessary and costly reworking.

Masking Products

Greentree, with over 70 year’s experience, is today recognised as a world leading designer and manufacture of product masking systems. With facilities worldwide Greentree offer over 12,000 standard products in both metric and imperial sizes. Available in a wide range of materials many of the products are re-usable offering operating temperatures up to 315°C. Caps, plugs and other designs together with their tape solutions ensure that most masking requirements can be easily solved in a fast and efficient manner both during masking and removal. Where a custom design is required the Greentree in-house team of engineers are there to help with a cost effective solution and should you require their components kitted, bagged and shipped to you on a scheduled basis they can help.

Tapes and Discs

Greentree offers an extensive range of tapes sourced from the leading tape manufacturers including Caplugs, 3M and others that are approved and used by industry and companies from aerospace to electronic, automotive to off-shore.

Offering operating temperatures up to 315°C, and with or without an easy release adhesive leaving no residue, materials including lead, aluminium foil, polyester,

silicone rubber, crepe paper and glass fibre. All available in both metric and imperial sizes with widths to meet your requirements up to 1500mm wide. Using their own in-house die-cutting resources Greentree produce from these and other more rigid materials discs, squares and other shapes to meet your exact needs and designs. Even supplying a multitude of different shapes in kit form, or perforations for alignment for fast operator application and easy removal.

Hooks and Product Hanging Solutions

Greentree offers a wide range of standard off-the-shelf cost-effective solutions for hanging components during paint spraying, dipping and curing. Manufactured in the UK these include copper coated hooks in either mild steel or spring steel. Designs include C-hooks, V-hooks, and CV-hooks either plain, 90 degree, or as a S-hook or a sprung pipe hook. Sizes range from 50 mm to 1000mm length and with wire diameters up to 10mm. Custom designs are available on request. Also available - Smart Bar™ a modular hanging rack that can be hung on your existing paint line giving maximum capacity and perfect contact every time when used with Greentree Mini Hooks. And to give you more flexibility on your paint line, Greentree’s range of spin hooks can be used as a permanent fixture when installing an automated overhead conveyor where parts are jigged, with a 360° turn.
