A photographic investigation into the concept of the ‘Fourth Wall’ and how it can be broken in Street Photography to influence audiences.

The ‘Fourth Wall’ is a conceptual idea in Media and Photography which describes a barrier between the performance and the consumer.

HOSTILITY

Noun

A form of emotionally charged opposed, unfriendly and aggressive behaviour.

SQUINT Verb

The act of partially closing one or more eyes in order to see something clearer.

EMOTION

Noun

Any sort of feeling a living being experiences, be it good or bad.

EYE CONTACT

Noun

When two or more people are looking directly into each other's eyes.

DISDAIN Verb

The act of looking down upon somebody as if they do not deserve consideration or respect.

Stare Verb

The act of vividly focusing on something or someone with full attention toward it.

INTERROGATE Verb

The act of vigorously questioning what someone has been or is doing in order to find out information.

SHOCK

The immediate reaction one has to a sudden and surprising incident or event.
