The main aim is to provide an ambibience where these free-spirited minds can come together and work. The co-working space is divied into two main zones, formal and informal space which is further divided into other small different zones. It has a recreational zone on the mezzanine level with a cafe and bar.

The project is inspred by a sea creature ‘Manta Ray’, from the family of Sting ray. It is largest in size of all rays. After analysizing the characteristics about manta ray, 3 attributes were finalized. They were edgy, independent and flowy. A final form was derived after exploring 2D forms of the above attributes. The final form derived was further developed into a ‘Bookshelf’ with a side table for home.

The concept of this center table was derived from hindi alphabet (H). We wanted to experiment the stability of cardboard when it is in curved form. While learning about different techniques to fix cardboard, the thought of mixing 2 different techniques to complete our furniture piece was the most interesting part. Lego and Layer techniques are used.. The table is called as “RISING TABLE.�
