Elm School Spring Fundraiser

On the evening of March 11, parents and teachers from Elm Elementary gathered at The Elm in La Grange for their annual spring fundraiser. It was a night to remember with dueling pianos by Howl2Go and a live auction featuring school parent John Rante. Elm Principal Sara Olson and District 181 Superintendent Dr. Hector Garcia welcomed all guests and thanked the parents for their support and PTO for their hard work. The event raised over $65,000 for the school library and playground. ■

It all started with a very special spumoni created and lovingly produced by Lezza Spumoni & Desserts, Inc. The origin of this spumoni is Naples, Italy and the recipe came to Chicago’s West Side with Salvatore Lezza in 1905. The recipe has remained with the family for over 100 years!
