FELLOW CATTLEMEN AND BRANGUS BREEDERS,

Sidney and I would like to welcome you to Indian Hills Ranch and our dispersal sale. This 20-year journey in the Registered Brangus Breed has brought us great joy and many, many wonderful friends.

We have been blessed through the years to have traveled to several countries and have made such wonderful friends in the cattle business and the Brangus Breed. Many of these people have been guests here at Indian Hills and have become customers and lifelong friends. I have often said that we don’t just have friends in Bosque County but can go to other countries and visit our Brangus friends as well! Indian Hills genetics have been shipped to 12 countries and for that reason we are very proud of the cattle represented by this offering.Through this journey we have had a number of people who have been extremely helpful over the years. It is impossible to list them all but each of you have all meant so very much to Sidney and I. However, there a few people that I feel can never be overlooked because of the influence they have had on us and the building of this herd. I simply must express my deepest gratitude for their guidance and help, John Maurer, Ken Hughes, Patrick Simmons, Othel Neely, David Vaughn, Mark Koehl and the Hodde family!

We started the herd with two bulls, Wat Lead Gun 33P6 and Chief of Indian Hills 23P68, and several cow families that are all represented in this offering. With this base we were able to produce 3 bulls that were instrumental in the development of this offering of cattle. They were IH Bar None 820Y8, IH Crow 540Z and IH Rudder504Y2. IH Rudder became Show Bull of the Year in 20132014.

The 504 and 820 cow families have improved our herd by raising some influential bulls and great females. We have had very good cattle from the 607, 23, and 535 cow families that we started with several years ago. Along the way we have added a few cow families like 99 and 915 when we found a cow that we felt would benefit our herd. We feel this approach has helped us over the years.

We are confident these cattle will benefit your operation and we look forward to seeing you on Friday, May 12 to preview the cattle and join us for a dinner. Then on Saturday, May 13 for the viewing of the cattle and the Sale

Sincerely,
