This month's book is 'Ten Questions

Christians are Asking'

written by Dr. David Jeremiah. It came about one day when he asked his congregation what questions they might ask him, if they were just having a coffee together. Out of all the letters and emails he received, he chose these ten questions that believers want to know. There are ten chapters in this book; each chapter discusses a question in detail. When these questions are on our minds, we need the truth and promises of scripture. God's word has all the answers we seek; David Jeremiah explains the answers and brings it into focus for us to understand. Some of the questions in this book are: How can I

be sure of my Salvation?

Some people asked if they were truly saved because they couldn't remember the date they gave their life to Christ. They are saved, you don't have to remember. God knows the date; that's all that matters. How

can I get victory over

worry? Jesus said many times, "Do Not Worry." Missionary Hudson Taylor said, "Let us give up our work, our thoughts, our plans, ourselves, our lives, our loved ones, our influence, our all, right into His hand and then when we have given all over to Him, there will be nothing left for us to be troubled about or to make trouble about."

When you start to worry, stop long enough to ask yourself, "Who am I? Am I a child of God or an unbeliever?" Worry is a form of atheism because it assumes there's no God watching over us. There's a short poem written in the 1800's that says it all.

Said the Robin to the Sparrow, "I should really like to know why these anxious human beings rush about and worry so." Said the Sparrow to the Robin, "Friend, I think that it must be that they have no Heavenly Father such as cares for you and me."

How can I find

forgiveness?Forgiveness is something we all need when we've committed a sin. Don't make the mistake of thinking you can hide from it; you can't. Remember David, when he lusted after Bathsheba, committed adultery, then murder to cover it up. David was in a very dark place until he asked God for forgiveness. Only in Christ can you find true forgiveness. Without the true forgiveness of Christ, the hell we put ourselves in through sin will one day be real. That's why coming to God through His Son, Jesus Christ, should be our main priority, to be forgiven and cleansed of our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ. He gave His life for your salvation. That's true forgiveness.

Is there only one way

to God? John 14:6 is the answer. The only answer.

How can I be saved?

Jesus is the Way. How can I be sure? Jesus is the truth. How can I be satisfied? Jesus is the life.

This is a great book where you will find the answers to questions you might be asking.

John 14:6

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
