Please read these Booking Conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by HIS Travel. All prices are inclusive of GST. How to book: Select the Product of your choice and then consult your Travel Agent who will make the reservation request. Please note that all reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of the price which will be subject to a written advice on confirmation of the reservation. Changes in prices and itineraries: Prices are based on tariffs and airfares current as at 1 April 2009. In this time of escalating prices and economic instability, it is impossible to foreshadow accurately fluctuations in exchange rates or increases to the cost element of the tour such as airfares, fuel, airport charges, hotelier rates and other service providers’ tariffs. In the event of such fluctuations or increases affecting the prices which we pay for transportation, accommodation and services generally, we reserve the right to adjust our prices as may be necessary at any time up to and including the day of departure of your tour, even though the balance payment may be made. If we are forced to change your booking or part of it for reasons beyond our control, for instance if an airline changes its timetable or if a hotelier overbooks his or her hotel accommodation, we reserve the right to vary your itinerary and will give you, or cause to be given to you, notice thereof, including any consequent change in price. In the event that any change or series of changes to your itinerary demonstrates that your tour has thereby become materially different from that contemplated prior to the change or changes being effected and in respect of which we have already accepted your deposit or balance payment, you have the right to ask for a rearrangement or to withdraw from the tour and monies already paid will be refunded less any charges levied by suppliers. It is essential you check with your Travel Agent whether any such changes have occurred in the tour you have chosen before you complete your booking. If, in the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking because of insufficient numbers booked or because of events outside our control, we will, if we are able to, offer you an alternative tour of a similar standard. If you do not accept the alternative, we will refund in full any monies already paid. Deposits and final payments: A deposit of A$330 per person is payable on confirmation of your reservation. Please check at the time of reservation for any additional deposit requirements. Final payments are to reach HIS Travel no later that 45 days prior to departure. Amendment fees: A fee of A$50 per file, per amendment will be charged by HIS Travel in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground/cruise operators or airlines. An amendment constitutes a change to an existing booking and not a transfer to another tour, wherein cancellation fees may apply. Cancellation: If you cancel or terminate your holiday, there will be no refund of your deposit, and:Prior to final payment: There will be no refund of any additional supplier deposit paid.
After final payment: There may be cancellation fees charged by airlines, hotels and ground/cruise operators amounting to all or part of the cost paid.
