Instructions: Begin at City Hall (1) and continue South on Poplar St. towards Telfair. Take a right on Arch St. Reverse direction (nearly a U-turn) onto Orange Terrace. Take a right onto Highland Terrace. Note the rehabilitated cottage at 942 Highland Terrace (2). Continue on Highland Terrace turning right onto Maple St. at the bottom of the hill. Continue past the restored 1860s cottages at 972 and 980 Maple Sts. (3 & 4). Turn left at the end of Maple St. onto Ross St. Continue through Tattnall Place Apartment. Note the two newly-constructed homes at 1212 and 1216 Ross St. (5 & 6). Continue down Ross St. to the next block. Note the Charleston-style home under construction at 1311 Ross St. (7) and its newly-constructed neighbor at 1315 Ross St. (8). Across the street, note the beautifully restored Cottage at 1326 Ross St. (9). Note 1342 Ross St. (10) next door, which is currently under construction. Continue around the corner from Ross St. onto Elm St. Note the modern shotgun house under construction at 1031 Elm St. (11) and the historic homes being restored next door and across the street at 1035 and 1030 Elm St. (12 &13). Turn left onto Calhoun St. and continue into the 1200 block, noting Macon’s only tree nursery at 1220 Calhoun St. and the historic home under rehabilitation at 1227 Calhoun St. (14). Turn left onto Hazel St. and take your first left onto Ross St. Ln. Turn right onto Ash St. and pass the last home, a newly-constructed modern shotgun house at 1142 Ash St. (15). Legend:
