BRAND MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
Literally translating to the ‘Land of the dawn-lit mountains’, Arunachal Praadesh is India’s wildest and least explored state. It appears as a giant patch of green on the country’s map. Arunachal rises abruptly from the Assam plains as a mass of densely forested and impossibly steep hills, culminating in snowcaWpped peaks along the Tibetan border. Home to 26 indigenous tribes, Arunachal is perhaps the last sanctuary for India’s natural and anthropological heritage. Much of the state remains beyond tourism’s reach, but new areas are slowly being opened to visitors.

PACKAGING
For a corporate gift that stands out while making sure the state is highlighted, I have come up with a basic packaging that plays to the state’s assets. The gifting idea includes a simple box with the branding which holds three boxes in it. Each small box contains a grain that is grown by the tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. Each grain signifies certain qualities as well. This gift is not only classy and simple, but promotes the tribes and agriculture of the greenest state of the country.

POTENTIAL REBRANDING
Due to the minimal nature of the logo, rebranding would be unnecessary as it will continue to stay relevant for quite a long time. The tagline however is very obvious right now. ‘Land of the dawn-lit mountains’ is a direct translation of the state’s name. This is ideal given the current mass unawareness of the state’s tourism. However, once it gains enough popularity, it can be changed to a shorter and more contemporary tagline. Some ideal suggestions would be ‘Gateway to Serenity’ and ‘Powered by Nature’ since it is one of the greenest states of the country.
