Dear Exhibitors, Sponsors, Vendors, and Supporters,

It is with immense pleasure and excitement that I welcome you back to Del Mar Horsepark for the 2024 season. As we gear up for this upcoming season, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support during our first season since our remarkable remodel. Your enthusiasm, feedback, and commitment to our facility have played a pivotal role in our success, and we could not be more thankful.

In 2023, we embarked on a journey to enhance your experience at Del Mar Horsepark, with your needs and comfort in mind, we introduced new stalls and updated our arenas with state-of-the-art eb and flow technology, complete with GGT footing. These modifications have not only transformed the landscape of our park but have also provided you with superior facilities to showcase your talent while keeping your horses' comfort in mind.

The commitment to excellence at Del Mar Horsepark does not stop here. As we look to the future, we have ambitious plans in store for the 2024 season. We are excited to announce that we will be completely redoing our indoor arena to further elevate your riding experience and provide a world-class setting for our events. We are also proud to introduce a new catering team that will ensure your culinary needs are met with the same level of quality and care that you have come to expect from us.

We eagerly anticipate the return of each and every one of you to our park. The 2024 season promises to be filled with thrilling competitions, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments. Our commitment to providing you with a premier equestrian venue and a warm, welcoming environment remains unwavering.

Thank you once again for your support and your role in making our facility truly exceptional. We look forward to celebrating the 2024 season with you and making it a year to remember.

Warm regards,

THE FEI CODE OF CONDUCT FOR THE WELFARE OF THE HORSE

The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) expects all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI’s Code of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount and must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences

1 At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation

2 Horses and competitors must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids

3 Events must not prejudice horse welfare This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event

4 Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed and that they are treated humanely when their competition careers are over This covers proper veterinary care, competition injuries, euthanasia and retirement

5 The FEI urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their areas of expertise

A full copy of this Code can be obtained from the Fédération Equestre Internationale, Avenue Mon-Repos 24, 1005 , Lausanne, Switzerland Telephone: +41 21 310 47 47 The Code is available in English & French The Code is also available on the FEI’s website: HorseSport org
