The most important aspect of the work is rnark-making and the actions undertaken to make these marks. ln partieular, drip^ ping, burning, mixing, stuffing, scraping and smothering. The materials are chosen and assembled for the origins of their funetion and their incompatible relationship, which allows for a multitude of textures, tones, forms and pattems.

Spontaneous Collaborations by Tina Muller i

lmagine this: The bands have finished playing, last orders have.been called andine bar staff are pretty keen to get you out of the pub as quickly as possible. It has been a great evening, you have been drinking and dancing and you are buzzing. Still. People are starting to congregate outside, sm.oking, chatting, laughirig and contemplating what to do next. The night is still young (even though it actually isn't).

More and more people are getting involved and soon a bit of a crowd has gathered together. You feel naturally strong and peacefully free. lt is as if everyone is helping each other to let go of what weighs them down with guilt and worry. Everyone is in tune.

lf you are reading this and you are a musician, you might say: Well, yes. That is what you call a jim! But I would like to think there is more to it, which is why I am on a mission to encourage collaborations across the whole of the artistic spectrum. And as is the beauty of any idea worth getting excited about, I ended up subconsciously seeking out and attracting like-minded people.
