A lovely and wholesome collection of business strike Indian Cents put together by a long time collector who had a keen eye for quality coins, regardless of color designation or grade, and who spent the past 16 years working on this endeavor. While the set isn’t complete, it nonetheless has a great deal to offer with something to please everyone.

US66803 1877 Mint State 64 Red Brown PCGS/CAC US66803 - The Key to the series. A mintage of just 852,500 pieces means the 1877 was produced in more limited numbers than any other circulation strike cent of its era. It is also the second lowest mintage issue of the type after the 1909-S. Generous amount of original mint red with balance being a light brown mellowed from full red. The strike is exceptional with all feather tips full, no weakness or shallowness in the date, and impressive reverse definition as well. Lovely coin and a wonderful example of this classic favorite.
