Ng Wins Nicklaus Junior Championship Terrence Ng continued his rich vein of recent form with victory in the Mission Hills Jack Nicklaus Junior Championship late May. After leading by one stroke overnight from fellow Hong Konger Liu Lok-tin, Ng recorded a final round of three-under 69 over the Jack Nicklaus-designed World Cup Course to finish on a total of eight-under 208. Liu finished two shots behind in second, with China’s Liang Zheng another five shots adrift in third place on one-under 215. As reward for the victory, Ng not only earned R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking points, which were offered at the event for the first time in 2010, but also a place in September’s Duke of York Young Champions Trophy in England. In addition, it was announced that Ng, plus the top three finishers in each age group, have secured a berths in the 17th Nicklaus Junior Championship that will be played in West Palm Beach, Florida in July.
