Middle School: Student Service Leadership Conference

On January 6, 2019, students from sister schools Concordia International School Shanghai (CISS), Concordia International School Hanoi (CISH), and Hong Kong International School met at HKIS for the 6th annual Student Leadership Conference.

At HKIS, High School and Middle School students have been taking part in this conference for six years with around 20 MS students participating this year. This four-day experience has become a tradition for HKIS and its sister schools and it’s an experience to be remembered. Students meet to discuss issues in our world today, how to be a good leader, and how they can make a difference. Guest speakers were called to inspire and educate, and activities were designed to raise awareness giving the participants an acute understanding of world issues and what they can do about them.

Three months after the conference concluded, students have still been heavily impacted by their experience.
