ADDITIONS 2025

The act of discovery requires instinct and curiosity.

THE ART OF EXPLORATION
THE CREATION OF AN IDEA CAN BE LIKENED TO A JOURNEY — ONE THAT BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP AND ENDS AT A DESTINATION SHAPED BY COUNTLESS MOMENTS ALONG THE WAY.
Much like travel, the process of developing a concept is rarely linear. Instead, it evolves through unexpected turns, subtle influences, and unplanned discoveries that refine and direct its course. It is these moments—often unanticipated and seemingly small—that hold the greatest power. They spark something essential: an idea, a direction, or a vision that demands to be explored further.
The act of discovery requires instinct and curiosity. There are no set routes or predefined instructions when searching for something new. Instead, the process relies on an openness to experience: the way a texture lingers on your fingertips, a fleeting scent anchors itself in your memory, or an overlooked detail suddenly demands your attention. It could be an unassuming side street, a fragment of music drifting through the air, or the fleeting beauty of twilight casting a city in golden light. These are the moments that define a journey—not simply because they are seen, heard, or felt, but because they resonate, inspire, and create lasting meaning.
This creative process can be seen as a kind of “off-season.” It’s a purposeful pause—a time to reflect, explore, and allow impressions to settle and mature. It’s in this space that raw inspiration is transformed into something concrete: a concept, a narrative, or a collection.
Additions 2025 emerged through this process. It is an unrefined yet deeply personal composition of memories and moments, each one contributing to a greater whole. Together, they form a collection that is authentic, distinctive, and deeply connected to the journey that inspired it.
For the explorer, the search is constant. The world is an inexhaustible source of stories, details, and ideas, waiting to be uncovered and reimagined. Each journey is guided by an appreciation for nuance and an ability to find significance in the seemingly ordinary. It is this mindset that propels the explorer forward, always seeking, always evolving, and always open to the opportunities that lie ahead.

HOTEL SATUNA
WHEN THE LAST GUEST CHECKS OUT AND THE HOLIDAY BUZZ FADES, SOMETHING MAGICAL HAPPENS. THE OFF-SEASON IS A RARE MOMENT OF QUIET—A PAUSE FOR SPACES TO BREATHE, RESET, AND REINVENT THEMSELVES. FOR US, IT’S NOT JUST DOWNTIME; IT’S CREATIVE PRIME TIME.
With no guests to impress, the hotel takes on a raw, lived-in beauty. The curtains get swapped, furniture rearranged, and walls become blank canvases for new ideas. This is where the team experiments—layering unexpected patterns, trying bold textures, and playing with seasonal colours that wouldn’t normally make the cut. The off-season isn’t about perfection; it’s about discovery. It’s when creativity flows freely, unburdened by deadlines and expectations. Like an artist in their studio, the hotel becomes a playground—a place where ideas bloom and bold decisions are made. And when the season picks up again? Those subtle changes, inspired by the off-season rhythm, make every return visit feel fresh, unexpected, and uniquely designed.
The off-season isn’t about perfection, it’s about discovery.

An unrefined yet deeply compositionpersonal of memories and moments, each one contributing to a greater whole.

THE NOMAD COUCH
THE NOMAD COUCH WAS INSPIRED BY THE EFFORTLESS CHARM OF MEDITERRANEAN BOUTIQUE HOTELS, WHERE EVERY DETAIL FEELS CURATED YET INVITING. WE IMAGINED ROOMS WHERE LINEN SOFAS BECKONED YOU TO SINK INTO THEIR SOFT FOLDS, WHERE RELAXATION WAS THE ESSENCE OF LUXURY. THIS DESIGN BLENDS THE WARMTH OF SOUTHERN EUROPE WITH PARED-DOWN FUNCTIONALITY, OFFERING COMFORT AND STYLE WITHOUT PRETENSE—A TRUE REFLECTION OF SPACES DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME.

VINTAGE HUNTING
THE JOY OF VINTAGE MARKETS LIES IN THE UNEXPECTED. A CHIPPED VASE MIGHT CATCH OUR EYE—NOT FOR ITS FLAW, BUT FOR ITS GLAZE, A COLOUR SO RICH IT COULD INSPIRE AN ENTIRE CERAMIC COLLECTION. A HAND-WOVEN RUG WITH A SLIGHTLY FADED PATTERN BECOMES THE BLUEPRINT FOR A TEXTILE DESIGN. EACH ONE ADDING A LAYER OF PERSONALITY TO A BIGGER NARRATIVE.
It’s never about finding the ‘perfect’ piece. Perfection feels static, sterile. What we love is the character—the perfectly imperfect details that make an object feel alive. Vintage offers a rebellion against the predictable, against the uniformity of mass production. It’s about finding those one-offs, those treasures that tell their own stories and leave room for new ones to be written. The thrill of the hunt is in seeing potential where others see clutter. When curated with care, these pieces transcend their functional purpose. They become the heart of a space— conversation starters, mood setters, tiny pieces of history that add depth and warmth. For us, vintage isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about connection—to the past, to the craft, to the imperfect beauty that makes a space feel real. And let’s be honest: it’s not hoarding if your shit is cool.

70s CERAMICS
OUR 70S CERAMICS WERE SHAPED BY JOURNEYS THAT CROSSED CONTINENTS AND CULTURES, EACH ONE LEAVING ITS MARK. MORNINGS IN LONDON BROUGHT THE CHARM OF HAND-THROWN POTTERY, WHILE DINNERS IN TOKYO CELEBRATED PRECISION AND BALANCE. THE RICH COLOURS OF MOROCCAN SOUKS, SICILIAN PATTERNS, AND CALIFORNIAN SUNSETS BLENDED INTO SOMETHING NEW: CERAMICS THAT FUSE THE RETRO SPIRIT OF THE 1970s WITH A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE, EACH PIECE A STORY OF TRAVEL AND TEXTURE.

TEXTURES OF DESIGN
WHEN WE START A NEW COLLECTION, MATERIALS AND TEXTURES ARE NEVER JUST AN AFTERTHOUGHT—THEY ARE WHERE EVERYTHING BEGINS. THE WAY A SURFACE CATCHES THE LIGHT, HOW IT FEELS UNDER YOUR FINGERS, THE STORY IT TELLS THROUGH ITS IMPERFECTIONS— THESE ARE THE ELEMENTS THAT SHAPE THE MOOD AND DIRECTION OF OUR DESIGNS.
The process is instinctive but also deeply collaborative. We spend hours handling materials, layering textures, and experimenting with contrasts. It’s about finding that perfect balance— where something soft offsets something structured, where a glossy surface can coexist with raw, earthy tones. Textures, for us, are the soul of a piece. They give it character and invite a kind of interaction that goes beyond the visual. Natural materials are always central to our work. There’s something honest about them—how they age, how they carry the marks of life. We love pairing them with unexpected elements, like industrial finishes or bold geometric forms, to create tension and surprise. It’s in these contrasts that a design starts to feel alive.

CHROME ADDITIONS
STARTED AS A FASCINATION WITH THE BOLD FUTURISM OF THE 1960S, BUT OUR VISION QUICKLY SHIFTED TO SOMETHING GRITTIER, MORE GROUNDED. WE IMAGINED THE RAW ENERGY OF NEW YORK LOFTS, WHERE CREATIVE CHAOS MET INDUSTRIAL TOUGHNESS. THE CABINET REFLECTS THAT TENSION: SLEEK CHROME SURFACES THAT CATCH THE LIGHT PAIRED WITH SHARP, COMMANDING EDGES THAT ECHO THE GRIT OF THE CITY STREETS. THEY ARE PIECES THAT BALANCES THE OPTIMISM OF THE FUTURE WITH THE UNAPOLOGETIC EDGE OF THE PAST.

TEAK IN ITS MOST AUTHENTIC FORM
THIS COLLECTION CELEBRATES TEAK IN ITS MOST AUTHENTIC FORM, ALLOWING ITS NATURAL IMPERFECTIONS TO SHINE. BY KEEPING FINISHES MINIMAL, WE LET THE WOOD SPEAK FOR ITSELF—ITS WARMTH, ITS DEPTH, AND THE QUIET STRENGTH IT BRINGS TO A SPACE. TO COUNTERBALANCE THIS ORGANIC TEXTURE, WE INTRODUCED BOLD, GEOMETRIC SHAPES THAT ADD A MODERN EDGE. THE INTERPLAY BETWEEN SOFT, NATURAL WOOD GRAINS AND THE STRONG SILHOUETTES OF OUR DESIGNS CREATES A DYNAMIC TENSION. IT’S THIS CONTRAST— RAW MEETS REFINED —THAT DEFINES THE COLLECTION.

BORN FROM THE WAY WE SEE THE WORLD

OUR WORK OFTEN BEGINS WITH PLACES THAT LINGER IN THE MIND— THOSE MOMENTS OF DISCOVERY THAT SHAPE THE WAY WE SEE THE WORLD. THE NATURAL CUSHIONS WERE BORN FROM WANDERING THROUGH VINTAGE MARKETS IN MARRAKESH, WHERE THE TEXTURES AND SUN-WORN COLOURS SEEMED TO HUM WITH STORIES OF TRADITION AND UTILITY. LATER, IT WAS A QUIET MEDITERRANEAN VILLAGE, ITS WHITEWASHED WALLS AND RUSTLING OLIVE TREES, THAT STAYED WITH US. THESE CUSHIONS ARE OUR WAY OF CAPTURING THAT SENSE OF CALM AND WARMTH, EVOKING LIVES WELL-LIVED AND SPACES DEEPLY ROOTED IN THEIR SURROUNDINGS.

There’s a resilience in outdoor gear that inspired every stitch and curve.

WHEN YOU LIVE WITH LESS BUT FEEL SO MUCH MORE
WHEN DESIGNING THE CANVAS CHAIRS AND CABINETS, WE KEPT COMING BACK TO THE IDEA OF SIMPLICITY— THE KIND YOU FIND WHILE TRAVELING, WHEN YOU LIVE WITH LESS BUT FEEL SO MUCH MORE. MEMORIES OF CAMPING TRIPS, WHERE THE CANVAS OF A TENT FELT LIKE HOME, GUIDED US. THERE’S A RESILIENCE IN OUTDOOR GEAR THAT INSPIRED EVERY STITCH AND CURVE, BUT WE SOFTENED AND REFINED IT, BRINGING THAT RUGGED ELEGANCE INSIDE. THESE PIECES ARE ABOUT EASE AND ADVENTURE, DESIGNED TO FIT INTO ANY SPACE WITH QUIET CONFIDENCE.

A JOURNEY WITHOUT LEAVING HOME
SCENT IS THE SECRET WEAPON OF DESIGN. IT DOESN’T JUST DECORATE A SPACE—IT TRANSFORMS IT, ADDING AN INTANGIBLE LAYER THAT GOES STRAIGHT TO THE SENSES. ONE INHALE AND YOU’RE NO LONGER HERE; YOU’RE SOMEWHERE ELSE ENTIRELY. A BUSTLING SOUK, A SUNLIT COASTLINE, A QUIET CABIN IN THE WOODS. SCENT HAS THE POWER TO TRANSPORT, TO EVOKE, TO CONNECT.
In our approach to design, fragrance is part of the architecture, as integral as the textures on the walls or the light pouring through a window. A bold, musky scent can add depth to a minimalist interior, while something fresh and green balances rich, layered spaces. It’s about creating contrast, harmony, and ultimately, an experience. Pairing scent with materials is where the magic happens. Imagine the crisp texture of linen complemented by the clean, sharp notes of eucalyptus, or the rugged grain of leather enhanced by smoky amber. These combinations don’t just add dimension—they create moments. They set the tone, anchor a memory, and make a space unforgettable. What makes scent unique is its ability to connect home and adventure. It brings the outside world in, weaving stories of far-flung places into everyday life. The earthy spice of cardamom might remind you of market stalls in Marrakesh; the salty sharpness of driftwood could conjure windswept coastal walks.

THE ART OF CONNECTION
FOR US, DESIGN IS A CONSTANT DIALOGUE BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT. IT’S ABOUT UNCOVERING IDEAS THAT REMAIN RELEVANT AND TIMELESS, SHAPING HOW WE LIVE TODAY.
Simplicity, purpose, and boldness inspire us to push boundaries while staying grounded. These influences aren’t about replication but about reinterpretation—a curve, a texture, or the interplay of precision and softness. It’s these details that bring our designs to life, making them personal and meaningful. We believe contemporary design embraces imperfection. It values individuality and depth, creating connections that go beyond the surface. Art and design are inseparable in our work. Together, they elevate everyday pieces into something extraordinary. By respecting the past and looking forward, we create designs that feel both timeless and uniquely ours.
