Here are the benefits for you
EASIER You will no longer have to read your meter. Eventually you will get a more accurate reporting of your energy consumption – hour by hour.
SAFER The new meter will help us to locate any power outage or faults and then fix these more quickly.
SMARTER Your meter will continually record your electricity consumption and, if you wish, your meter can be connected to energy management systems. You can choose any supplier to provide additional equipment for these systems.
Get to know the new electricity meter
HAN (Home Area Network) This is an interface for smart home solutions. We ask you to contact the grid company before purchasing any such equipment to determine if your meter is ready for connection.
DISPLAY The display shows the meter reading.
The speed of the ashing red light will vary with the power consumption.

The new meter will record your electricity consumption once an hour and automatically send the meter readings to us. You do not need to do anything, but it may be useful to know a little about the new meter.
The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has decided that all electricity customers in Norway will receive new automatic electricity meters. This is the largest modernization of the Norwegian electrical grid in over 100 years. It will provide several benefits for you as a customer.
We have installed an automatic electricity meter in your meter cabinet. Now you no longer have to read your electricity meter and deliver meter readings.
