來自挪威的赫爾塞絲是當今最矚目的新一代小號演奏家，憑著超卓及自然 流暢的演奏，深受樂評人讚賞，並迅速於歐洲樂壇竄紅。屢獲獎項的她曾 與BBC蘇格蘭交響樂團、皇家利物浦愛樂、NDR漢堡交響樂團、瑞典電台交 響樂團和澳洲室樂團合作，並曾於紐約卡奈基音樂廳及倫敦皇家艾爾伯特 音樂廳演出。 赫爾塞絲首次來港，將演出小號經典作品—胡默爾的協奏曲。維也納宮廷 樂團小號演奏家魏丁格為小號加上活塞及按鍵，啟發胡默爾寫成這首傳世 之作。協奏曲節奏歡快，曲調豐富，充份表現出古典主義時期的典雅風 格，並將與音樂會的兩首法國印象派作品相映成趣。

Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth has established herself as one of the leading artists of her generation. At the age of 19, in 2007, she was named the “Newcomer of the Year” in the Norwegian Grammy Awards (she was actually the first classical artist ever to be nominated). Highlights of last season included her recital débuts at Carnegie Hall and in Berlin and Brussels, as well as her first performance at the Royal Albert Hall as part of Classic FM Live. In April 2011 she signed an exclusive recording contract with EMI Classics. Apart from her solo work, she is the founder and leader of brass ensemble tenThing. In her Hong Kong début, Tine Thing Helseth will play one of the most important works in the trumpet repertoire, Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto. Under the baton of Jason Lai, Hong Kong Sinfonietta will also play two French masterpieces, Debussy’s Prelude to Afternoon of a Faun and Ravel’s Mother Goose. 小號 Trumpet
