The Standard Chartered Arts in the Park Mardi Gras (AIP) is one of Hong Kong’s most iconic, fun-filled and inspiring community arts events. This year, 120,000 visitors poured into Victoria Park and onto the streets of Causeway Bay to take part. Running in its 6th year, AIP2013 included a themed parade of giant puppets, over a dozen carnival art stalls, everyone’s favourite Sun Dance, 16 hours of non-stop performances… and, for the very first time, a Night Parade of illuminated artworks!
