HOW TO SCAN ON CANON MX452

1. Connect the Canon scanner and your computer via a USB cable or over Wi-Fi.

2. Download and install the MP drives on the computer.

3. Next, press the Scan button on the operational panel, choose Save to and press OK.

4. Select the destination where you want to save the scanned document.

5. Following that, select the document type and make the necessary scan settings.

6. Open the document and place the document on the scanner glass or load document in the ADF.

If you want to scan a document to a computer, use a USB cable or wireless network to connect the computer and the scanner.

1. Make sure you install the MP drivers on the computer

2. Press the Scan button, then press the left or right arrow keys to find Save to and press OK to select it.

3. Next, select PC and choose the computer connected to the scanner. Choose either Local (USB) if the computer is connected via USB cable or computer model name if it is a network connection.

4. Select the Document type and set the other scan settings.

5. Load the document on the printer’s scanner glass or in the ADF

6. Press either the Black or Color button to begin the scan.

1. Turn on the printer and connect the USB flash drive to the USB drive port of the printer.

2. Now, press the Scan button from the operational panel.

3. Select Save to > USB flash drive, then continue to configure the scan settings.

4. Load the document on the scanner glass or in the ADF.

5. Press the Color or Black button to start scanning.

Scan a document using the IJ Scan Utility and save it as a PDF file on your Windows computer.

1. Load the document on the scanner glass of the printer

2. See that you have installed the required printer driver on the computer, click the Start icon, and select All Programs.

3. Find the Canon Utilities and click it to expand. Now, select IJ Scan Utility.

4. When the Canon IJ Scan Utility window opens up, select the Canon Pixma MX452 setup printer name from the drop-down menu.

5. Choose Document to start scanning.

Canon Mx452 Scan Multiple Pages

To scan multiple pages that are printed on both sides of the sheet using the Scan Utility, perform the steps given below

1. Arrange the papers to be scanned in the ADF.

2. Connect the computer and the scanner properly

3. Open the IJ Scan Utility on the computer and click the Settings button.

4. Select Document Scan from the left panel, then set Document (ADF Manual Duplex) as the Source.

5. Configure the other necessary settings and click OK.

6. Now, select Document to start scanning.

7. When you have to scan the other side of the sheet, read the instruction on the screen and place the document as instructed.

8. Click OK to scan the other side.
