Editor’s Talk Dear all shareholders and investors, this investor newsletter is the first edition as one of channels of communication of the Company. For the Company’s business operation during the first half of 2016, the Company has several improvements such as launching another branch of HomePro and Mega Home, launching a new business model, “Bike Club”, etc. Furthermore, the Company also continues to move forward on the issue of sustainable development by supporting of the use of energy-saving products and environmental friendly along with the responsibility towards customers including the extension of the CSR “Kids’ Toilet” to “Public and Elders’ Toilet” which followed with HAS standard of Ministry of Public Health. For the second half of the year, the Company has continuously expanded its business in both expanding branches and launching new business models, but for the details, please stay tuned for the next edition.
Investor Relations
2016 Annual General Shareholders Meeting On April 7, HomePro arranged annual general shareholders meeting for the year 2016 at the Grand Ballroom, 1st Floor of Mandarin Hotel Bangkok. All 12 of the Board of directors attended this meeting by Mr. Anant Asavabhokhin, the President served as a chairman of the meeting. The important agendas of this meeting are considering and approving the payment of dividends for the second half of 2015 at 0.15 Baht/share and answering inquiries about the Company’s operation results and business plans.

Introducing new branches
HomePro Chaiyapruk Make a difference with the trend of the future
“77th Branch, HomePro Chaiyapruk” is another branch of the HomePro that invested more than 600 million Baht with good shopping atmosphere in order to focus on the customers’ lifestyle. In addition, the store focuses on elder care products by including the products at model room in shop front area such as bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. Model room and the Home Service area will be a center of goods facilitating and securing in the daily lives of the elderly in which this is very good for supporting the future of the country to step into an aging society. It is also the first branch that started installed 2,100 square meters of solar roof on the top of parking lots which can help reducing carbon emissions by 240.90 Ton Co2 / year, equivalent to planting 27,689 trees/ year.
HomePro Rama 3
Newer and bigger
“HomePro Rama 3” is located in the city center of Bangkok, with over 10,000 square meters for supporting residential customers in the city center, especially the customers who live in a condominium located near BTS and a river view including the customers who live detached houses, townhouses, condominiums, and offices with high purchasing power. “HomePro Rama 3” was invested over 1,400 million Baht to meet the needs of customers with products and services such as banks, convenience stores, restaurants and parking lots for over 400 cars, with a special “Elder Care Solution” service, a service designed for the elders for living happily including bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room, to prevent and reduce accidents that may occur with the elders in their daily lives.
Mega Home Rojana On April 29, 2016, Mega Home Center Co., Ltd., a center of the home improvement and construction materials including retail and wholesale, opened Mega Home Rojana, Ayutthaya which is the 8th branch located on over 10,000 square meters with parking lots for over 100 cars and selling more than 10,000 items to support customers in Rojana Industrial Park area and customers in Ayutthaya to buy quality products at affordable prices
Introducing a new business model
BIKE Club Bike club is the biggest center in ASEAN selling more than 300 leading brands of bicycles from around the world in response to the growing of health-conscious. Bike Club is one of a new business model that HomePro continues to expand more branches by launching the first branch at “HomePro Chaiyapruk” and the 2nd branch at HomePro Rama 3. Bike Club was designed as a single-storey building in Stand Alone design that provides all types of bicycles including Family and Performance such as Children’s bicycles, Fold bicycles, Mountain Bicycles for the specialty and variety to satisfy and meet all our customers' lifestyles.
Moreover, Bike Club is the first place in Thailand that offers Test Track area for riders to test ride and bathrooms for the convenience of the riders including the after-sales service, Service Center to take care and maintenance bicycles by the expertise with the follow-up testing for cyclists before riding.
Sustainability Development
6 symbol Go Green with ECO Products In order to promote and support business operations with responsibility towards society and develop a sustainable business in 3 dimensions (Economic, Society, and Environment), HomePro pays attention on their products by selecting ECO products as well as the innovation to meet the needs of consumers in terms of environmental issues through “6 Symbols Go Green” campaign which are (1) Energy Saving products including washing machines, refrigerators, irons, air conditions, microwaves, bulbs, and solar cells (2) Sustainable Forest products including doors made of wood (3) Environmental Friendly products including decorative wood, insulation, wooden floors, Laminated floors, and colors (4) Health Care and safety products including electric pan, water heater, thermos bottle, kettle, and other health care products (5) Water Saving products including faucet and sanitary ware (6) Carbon Care products including tiles and paint in which all the symbols will be appeared on the “HomePro” products in every branch which customers will be able to notice it easily in order to ensure that shopping with HomePro are environmental friendly.
Moreover, HomePro also has other campaigns that help promoting the realized of environment issue by joining with the public and private sectors such as Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand arranged “Power Saving project this summer, Changing to ... Electric appliance No.5” for Thai people to use electric appliance No.5 and changing to use LED bulbs No.5. This project can reduce power consumption by 15.7 million units per year and help reducing electricity costs by 62 million Baht per year, and help reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 8,000 tons per year as well.
"Eppohan2 Changing new for surely saving” project by HomePro together with the Ministry of Energy promote a public campaign for people to using the electrical appliances No.5 and LED bulbs. “No Bag” project is a project of not using plastic bag to reduce waste in which the members of the Home Card will get 10 reward points from the first 1 Baht that is paid to HomePro, and HomePro is also one of the companies approved by TIS that pays attention to the selection of quality products “worth and safe” and certified to the ISO standard that the products are safe for consumption and has quality with reasonable prices.
Kids’ Toilet & Public and Elders’ Toilet For over 10 years, HomePro has helped promoting the health of elementary schools through the “Kids' Toilet” by improving and repairing toilets for elementary schools across the country so that they will have toilets that meet with a standard of HAS of the department of Health under Ministry of Public Health. As a result, there are more than 80,000 kids from 172 schools in 45 provinces benefit from this project. In 2016, HomePro helps the society from their past experience through “Public and Elders’ Toilet” project starting at Public Park in Commemoration of H.M. the King's 6th Cycle Birthday, Rama 3 Road in Bangkok by providing 2 toilets for elderly / disabled people and 8 public toilets with total investment of more than 2 million Baht.

Investors’ Choice Award / ESG100 / Carbon Footprint In 2016, HomePro won Investors' Choice Award of Assessments Project of arranging Annual General Shareholders Meeting of the listed companies to focus on the disclosure and equality of the shareholders which HomePro got 100 full score for 8 consecutive years.
After
Furthermore, HomePro won the ESG100 Certificate in SD from the director of Thaipat Institute and a certificate of carbon offset activity from the director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization in which HomePro was one of the 100 listed companies that operates the business following ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and is also the first retail center providing home appliances in Thailand that was approved the registration of Carbon Footprint and Carbon Label.
