About Rick Horger
As a native of South Carolina and the Lowcountry, Rick Horger is keenly familiar with the geography, architecture, market trends and property evaluations It was his love of real estate that led him to get a degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of South Carolina, and he obtained his Broker's license many years ago After working in Development for a few years, Rick decided to return to school to study land planning and environmental design. This allowed him a unique perspective on the real estate and development fields.
The post graduate work in Athens, Georgia first lead Rick to a career at Fazio Golf Course Designers. It was during this tenure that he was exposed to different real estate/golf developments in many parts of the country. After travelling extensively and seeing a world of high-end developments, Rick decided he wanted to focus more on the real estate aspect of the industry. While at Fazio, he was introduced to Daniel Island at its infancy stages. It was the perfect opportunity to enter the world of Brokerage as well as return to the homeland
From his entrance as a Broker Associate at Daniel Island working with Daniel Island Real Estate, Rick became been a top producer He earned the Realtor® of Distinction status which he was awarded each year since that time through the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® He maintained the number one producer the last three years at Daniel Island Real Estate prior to joining Corcoran HM Properties in the Fall of 2022
