Josh Tucker Managing Broker 10 years is a relatively short time to be making strong waves in the luxury real estate market, yet Josh has managed to do just that. Whether it is setting records for the most expensive Lake Norman resales in 2020, 2021 & 2022 or selling his successful brokerage firm, Anchor Real Estate, in 2019 to Corcoran HM Properties to become the Managing Broker of their Lake Norman office, Josh remains a leader in the pack of luxury specialists in the greater Charlotte area. Born and raised in Northern Indiana, Josh relocated to the Lake Norman area in 2002 to pursue a career in NASCAR. Not taking no for an answer, he landed his dream job and continued in the sport for 11 seasons working alongside some of the industries most respected drivers such as Carl Edwards, Jamie McMurray, David Ragan, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The transition from NASCAR to real estate came in 2013. The competitive environment of NASCAR, where an extreme work ethic, drive and determination, a strong emphasis on building the best team and simply outworking the competition, certainly prepared him for a successful entry into the real estate industry. He continues to build on those traits and values personal relationships along with quality over quantity. In his free time, he can be found volunteering with Lake Norman Humane, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, where he currently serves as the President of their Board of Directors. With rescue pets of his own, he is passionate about pursuing their vision, where pets are safe and healthy in loving homes.
