BRINGING HOAG’S VISION TO LIFE

Established in 2010, Hoag’s Irvine campus has seen tremendous growth over the last decade.

It is currently home to:

• Unparalleled integrated birthing options at the Fudge Family Birthing Suites

• Specialized programs for cancer and digestive health

• Premier emergency services at the Benjamin & Carmela Du Emergency Pavilion

• Renowned orthopedic care at the Hoag Orthopedic Institute, ranked in the top 30 best orthopedic hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report

These established, highly sought-after services at the heart of the Irvine campus will be joined by even more of Hoag’s world-class programs.

Expanded Facilities

6 new buildings, 120,000 square feet of ambulatory facilities, 155 new inpatient beds, 11 operating rooms, 2 additional procedure rooms, and 2 new parking structures.

Expanded Capabilities

Expanded research and clinical trial programs, innovative technology, new specialty care facilities, and dedicated service centers for cancer, women’s health, and digestive health.

Revolutionary Design

A blend of high-tech and high-touch at every turn, with wellness and health-enhancing features such as indoor-outdoor spaces, meditation gardens, and seamless, hospitality-focused experiences from arrival to patient rooms and every step in between.

Two new specialty hospitals anchor our campus expansion: one for our Women’s Health Institute and another for the Hoag Family Cancer Institute and the Digestive Health Institute.

Hoag’s own research—as well as national trends indicating the need for better maternity care and the increasing prevalence of both cancer and digestive disorders—emphasizes the particular importance of investing in these areas.

A DIVERSE POPULATION, A CUSTOMIZED APPROACH

To meet the unique needs of Orange County’s growing population, Hoag’s Sun Family Campus will bring together innovative and holistic resources not often found in one location. Patients will have access to state-of-the-art technology, a variety of dietary options, an interfaith worship center, healing gardens, outdoor terraces, and more to help them reach optimal health.
