We are excited to introduce the inaugural HHF Yearbook. A special thank you to Christine Blough and Nicole Diego for driving this effort and to all of you for submitting your individual pages.
The year 2022 has been and interesting, yet challenging year. The year started out with a bang with a great economy and record-breaking stock market growth and quickly moved to record inflation, interest rate hikes and significant drops in the market.
Despite numerous headwinds and a lot of roller coaster rides and uphill battles, you all heads down, worked hard and persevered so HHF could attain our very lofty goals that we set for our organization every year. In my twelve-plus years at HHF, I truly consider this to be our most successful – not measured by pure numbers, but by hard work, collaboration, and great leadership from everyone.
In 2022 we brought back several major events, some that we haven’t experienced for three years. We also engaged as an organization in precedent-setting work to enhance our already great organizational culture. In 2022 we finalized a five-year strategic plan and recruited more new team members than in any other year in our history. Wow! What an incredible year.
As you look through the pages of this wonderful treasure, take time to reflect on the many incredible moments you experienced with those who photos line the pages of this yearbook. Hopefully we’ll all find time to laugh a little as we reflect, and maybe even experience small emotional moments of gratitude for the opportunity to work with the best colleagues anywhere. Enjoy the HHF Yearbook and let’s look forward to making this an annual tradition.
Sincerely,
Flynn A. Andrizzi, PhD President, Hoag Hospital Foundation
