Hello. My name is Taylor Newell and currently some of my paintings and drawings are available for sale for two months. It is my first experience with selling art as I am a graphic designer by trade. However, Karen Marsh, (of the terrific shop Mackey Blue in Hoboken) has given me the great opportunity to showcase a series of my artwork starting this January.

I believe in the constant exploration of color treatments and combinations. It’s endless work Figure drawing is the search for the right line or maybe just the opposite. I like to work loosely as possible. I make marks freely and apply them with an energy in chaotic order. Sometimes it is total improvisation.
