I am writing to you today to inform you about this week's council meeting. On the agenda is a resolution to continue the PILOT (Payment In Lieu Of Taxes) agreement for the three "Church Towers" build.ings. This is the agreement that allows management to provide housing for those of us who cannot live in luxury condos or million dollar brown stones; Hoboken's middle class. If this resolution fails, YOU WILL BE DIRECTLY AFFECTED!

I am asking all of you, my neighbors, as well as the building management to come to the council meeting and ensure that the entire council supports you, the working families of the city of Hoboken. The meeting is on Wednesday January 7th,2008 at 7PM. I am hopeful that at least one member of each household will attend. I have been your voice since elected in 2003 and now you need to continue to make your voice heard and not let the vocal minority force you out of your home. It is crucial!
