WESTERN AUSTRALIA’S ELITE
The Perth Thundersticks are Western Australia’s premier hockey franchise with the best female and male players in our great state representing in the Hockey One League.
The Hockey One League is Australia’s national hockey league and one of the only national leagues that is truly gender equal. This is reflected across playing conditions, media exposure, broadcast and scheduling.
Our Perth Thundersticks feature some of Australia’s top hockey talent - players destined to progress to Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Cups through the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras teams.
The Perth Thundersticks play home matches at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University and compete against teams from across the country. Matches are broadcast across major media channels, with current seasons broadcast, live and free, on 7 Plus, and valuable commercial opportunities exist in a league that has broad exposure across the country.

In 2024, Hockey WA and the Perth Thundersticks are providing opportunities for corporate partners to support both the players and the teams on their journey to gold!
As a player partner, your support flows directly into the pockets of players, in addition to supporting the Perth Thundersticks programs overall.
Player partnership investments will be split as follows: 25% 25% 50%
To help support the team and program operations, including flights, accommodation, staff, wellbeing and administration.
To support them during their Perth Thundersticks campaign.
To be evenly spread across all players of the team, to support them during their Perth Thundersticks campaign.*

REVENUE SHARE MODEL
In 2024, it has been agreed by the Perth Thundersticks organisation and playing groups, to implement a revenue share model as part of the Perth Thundersticks Player Partnerships Program.
As hockey continues to be an amateur sport, players to this day still don’t receive match payments to compete at the highest level nationally.
A 25% allocation of each individual player sponsorship will be put into a pool to split evenly amongst the entire squad, regardless of games played.
